If we look at what they did to Wallstreet, they broke a rigged system in a way that hurt the owners of the system, within the system.
Trump did this with politics and media. He discredited media (record low trust), and exposed the lies of politicians. But neither of these things was GME.
January 6th at the Capitol was the political GME. It was a show up in person, feet on the desk, ownage.
This is exactly what Gamestop short did. It owned a specific hedge fund, and made the overlords scared. Expect a backlash akin to the January 6th backlash. They will find a way to punish people for this, whether it be public smear campaigns or "market manipulation" laws.
Building our own competing media isn't how to replicate the GME hit. Reddit didn't build their own stock market first. ( same goes with GAB and other social media platforms). I'm not saying that building these alternate outlets and platforms aren't worthwhile, but they are long game. I'm looking for a lightning bolt move that will make media quake like broke hedge funds and exposed politicians. (Non violent though, please).
We have a 7 headed monster here, and each head has a soft spot. Where is media's?
