It's sad, for sure but some of the comments were funny enough to share and I'd like to offer this anecdote. When I lived with a Type 1 diabetic they managed it with shots manually. From what I understand the people who have insulin pumps are the rich folks. Soooo it's possible this person might be able to reduce costs but you know - first world living etc. What he really may be saying is that he doesn't want to manually manage his diabetes like a poor person. P.S. He's got some of those expensive 'air pods' in his ears too, yeah he's probably from wealth.
