Two weekends ago, my grandfather (87) fell and broke his hip. His hip surgery went perfect but there was an outbreak at this hospital and he got the Wuhan Virus.

He started with influenza like symptoms such as muscle pain. Mainly his lower back. He had a low grade fever and had already tested negative three times.

On the fourth test he tested positive and was moved to what they call a “hot floor”. This morning he had a 101,5F fever and was being given oxygen.

Good news tonight. He has a 100,3F fever, 94% oxygen level. He’s getting 2 litres an hour of oxygen and he’s eating three meals a day.

Visits are not allowed. I will call tomorrow for more news.

update 2 2020-11-5 no fever today. oxygen levels good. getting off the oxygen slowly. was at 1L today and now at 0,5L.
