I’ve been watching the Chauvin trial and I’ve actually developed some sympathy for George Floyd. Hear me out.

The prosecution brought in a bunch of crying witnesses who knew Floyd or saw him die. While I was appalled at how sleazy this move was, I simultaneously saw that most of the witnesses were genuine. Floyd isn’t the degenerate that our memes have made him out to be.

He was a Christian, an athlete who taught kids and a goofy/friendly dude. He got addicted to pain killers after getting a prescription for chronic pain. That is not any different than what happened with Rush.

Yes, he robbed a pregnant woman at gun point and for that he might be burning in hell. But only God can judge him. Yes he acted like a fucking maniac when he was arrested and is 100x more to blame for his death than Chauvin...

But in hindsight, it’s pretty clear he wasn’t actually lying when he was freaking out and saying he was claustrophobic. He was let down and brainwashed by the BLM mob. He was let down by Obama and the commies lying to everyone and saying the cops are trying to hunt them.

The point I’m getting at here is there is no point in hating George Floyd or making light of his death. He wasn’t Barack Obama or some absolute degenerate asshole. Just because the left irrationally worships him as a hero doesn’t mean we need to make him into the devil. He’s neither one. He’s just some dude / recovering felon / drug addict that became the center of the left’s propaganda. It’s not his fault.

If you want to take our country back it is going to take convincing at least 1/5 black people to support MAGA. Fentanyl Floyd jokes and “a year sober” jokes aren’t gonna get us anywhere; it’s playing right into the leftist’s hands and driving blacks to them in droves. Instead we should explain George Floyd caused his own death but ultimately didn’t deserve to die. Or keepmaking jokes, I don’t care, it’s not a big deal, they’re jokes. But I don’t want to be the mirror image of a leftist degenerate celebrating the death of people who aren’t on my political team.
