Now let us picture a normal day for a normal man in that neighborhood. He is hungry and wants to get something to eat: The next burger joint is in 20 miles away. He has a car but he needs spare parts. They recently burned down the local auto shop so he would have to get parts from a shop 70 miles away. So he decides to walk to a food store 5 miles away. On his way out he hears gun shots on the corner. Then he sees people getting shot on the streets. Once we would have called the police, but they stopped servicing his neighborhood some time ago. He pulls out his cell phone not realizing that AT&T just stopped to cover his area because nobody was paying their bills and it was not profitable to maintain the cell phone towers there.
