At the dawn (in not the late morning, eh) of the XXIth century, fact is that, on one hand, the Congress is heavily lobbied by private entities, whose interests, in the context of so-called globalization, are not akin to those of We The People, and, on the other hand, the IT revolution has given the People the wide-scale possibility to express a voice that was doomed to silence in the early days of the American Republic.
