But what happens when you combine this conservative belief about armed self-defense with wise skepticism of the corrupt legal system? Unfortunately in many cases you get inaction and people staying home after a painful risk-reward analysis. And the left goes unchecked and continues to dominate the public square, destroy monuments, erase history and groom kids at "drag queen story hour". I don't care about leftists looting and destroying their own shithole neighborhoods but allowing them to destroy important symbols of the nation is not good. It's demoralizing and humiliating and to undecided people we appear weak which is not attractive.

So how do we solve this? One way is to show up in large enough numbers without guns. You are trading away legal risk for physical risk but in many cases it has worked. A perfect example would be the Italians defending the Columbus statue in Philadelphia. Yes the legal system is corrupt but the risks you run by shoving away violent aggressors are way lower than discharging your firearm in public. When you rally sufficient numbers and stick together and watch each other's backs you can do well. It's not like the scrawny soy losers facing you are very tough or brave. And it's easier to rally the numbers needed when people aren't so freaked out about going to prison for life on corrupt charges related to firearms.

What will most likely happen? You'll successfully achieve your objective and go home with minimal injury and legal risk. It's even worked on Berkeley's campus before in 2017, we cleared antifa out of their home territory without guns.

What happens if you accidentally kill someone with a punch? It's possible but not likely. What happens if a leftist decides to pull out a gun and shoot you while you're unarmed? Again it's not likely but if the left starts shooting unarmed targets, you can bet that a hot civil war won't be far behind.
