They met when the Army Ranger asked Charles about the bumper sticker on his car, which was a military sticker with his son’s name. The Army Ranger was, miraculously, in the camp that was supposedly under attack when SEAL Team 6 was killed, and they became friends. He said that they were not under attack at that time.
