Wait, part of my country just flooded, does this mean I'm eligible?

Nah, just kidding, only way I'll ever migrate to the US is on merit. Don't want the consolation price.

"This Perfect Day" was written 50 years ago, but I'm feeling we're living in the dystopian future it described. Think they used a few books from then to create the future back than.

It's good that a lot of variants are popping up. A virus will die quickly if it kills the host, through natural selection the ones that jump from host to host and not kill it rise in numbers, but they are a lot weaker than the original virus. You immune system will make antibodies for both the weak and the strong if it encounters the weak ones.

Never in de history of virology has there been a virus that grew more fatal over time.

"Bigger threat", as it was non-existent this year. Found this tool on the WHO website: https://apps.who.int/flumart/Default?ReportNo=2&CountryCode=us (takes a while to load, which is a bit weird actually because zeros don't take up much space)

Last week, the Dutch government announced that next week the mask mandate will be lifted. What generous gods they are. But if you think about it, it must be a real smart bug, it can tell time. This week we all have to fear the bug, but next week it'll be harmless.

Well, the bug set his time last year for me, never wore a mask. Just had 3 encounters with Karens.

What I'm hearing is june 19 was the day the last slaves heard they were free. When it was signed into a bill should be the last day of slavery, not when some people were the last ones to realize it.

My dad got pfizer, part of his large intestine died the day after the second jab. And he was so glad to get it.

Well, they do. Photosynthesis only happens under the influence of light, at night the process reverses.

Meh.. they shout "YOU NEED A VACCINE PASSPORT!" then whisper "or a negative test" "TO TRAVEL!!!". If laws mean anything, they can't enforce it.

Found an interesting link to a tool from the WHO on the website of the Dutch governments' official health institute:

https://apps.who.int/flumart/Default?ReportNo=1&CountryCode=nl

The tool displays how many influenza cases were reported to the WHO by the Netherlands in the last year. A whopping total of 6 cases.

Now, after tweaking the URL a bit you can see it for the US:

https://apps.who.int/flumart/Default?ReportNo=1&CountryCode=us

OK, somewhat more, but no total numbers. But if you change the URL to ReportNo=2 you get a total stat (takes a while to load), which says the US reported 25376 cases of flu over the last year.

So a chance of 0,000077 you had the flu last year.

Oh, I can sit there. Been vaccinated once.

40 years ago or so, but still.

Back in April I wrote something on another platform, I'll translate it: "in 2019 there was a gathering of the elite about how to handle a pandemic. 3 months later, guess what? a pandemic. Now, there's a gathering about cyber warfare. Wandering with whom there'll be a cyber war next".

So far energy has been cut off in the US and now food.
