It has internal links, including the TED talk where Gates said this.

I just called Chewy to ask whether they carry the MyPillow dog beds. Interesting conversation. No, said the guy, not any longer. I asked when they stopped carrying it and he sighed (nice young kid) and said, "Today." I asked if he knew why they stopped and he said yes. I told him, "You know this is going to come back on you, right?" He sighed again, and said ,"It already is."
Yeah. The vet is almost a scientist about this stuff, making lists of foods with bad ingredients, what food works well with what medical condition, etc. I've forgotten what the certain ingredients are that the cat cannot have, but I have a call in to the vet right now to see if there is an alternative food, just in case. I looked at the link you sent (thank you) and bookmarked it.
At this moment I have a 43-day supply. (I'm keeping track.) I'm good for right now. If I can't find it again when I start looking in 2-3 weeks, I'll save this message and get back to you. Thanks. (And when I was unable to get it before, it was verified by the manufacturer that they'd had to stop making it for an unknown period of time AND that the future was going to be iffy. When they started again, Chewy pounced and that's how I got it. But it was in no store/website anywhere.)
Soooo, I should just put the cat down now and save her the trouble of organ failure and dying and me the accompanying vet bills? All so I can cancel the Chewy auto shipments?
Or should I automatically obey a list that somebody creates and posts here, without checking it out?
Is that what you're suggesting?
I'll look into it before cancelling my 13-year-old cat's ONE food that she is allowed to eat ... that CHEWY has been able to get for the past month when absolutely NOWHERE else could get it. Have to draw my personal line somewhere.
Nearly brings tears to my eyes, this. Being afraid to send a damn postcard because you could be tracked by those who would do you harm ...
What the FUCK have we come to?
My father is rolling over in his grave right now.
<< Self employment is a pain in the ass that will make you question yourself frequently. >>
Self-employed 27 years. Sometimes the definition of self-employed success is that the lights are still on and you have one more meal in the fridge. BUT not answering to a boss/company/HR is worth everything. If you hustle and work smart, it can be a good life.
Ya know what? I like you. I went back through your post history. Then I took a chance and clicked around your site. You've put a lot of work into it.
A clue, however: Don't go out of your way to do anything for people on this site, like the Super Bowl thing you did. It isn't appreciated, generally. I've done a lot of research at different times to get answers for people about specific things ... no more. I've even gone back now and deleted all my answers, and delete any new ones every few days. So, enjoy working on your site. (I have several, and it can be fun to tinker.) But don't expect appreciation here. There's just too much suspicion now. Your target audience is going to be elsewhere.
