Mapping of the virus's mutations shows that the original strain of the virus can be sourced to Wuhan. Wuhan is a gateway city between China and much of the rest of the world. If the virus really did originate from America, they would not be gagging their scientists and covering this up like it's the biggest threat to their existence since Tiananmen square (It is).
This is also why the projections have been so off. The models don't account for Chinese lies. This did not start in December or January. Now, there was also a bad influenza strain going around, I'm sure in most cases if people feel they had something, it was probably just that. However, the virus circulating since December is extremely plausible.
