Basically I don't know anything about the Hui can the Uighur, and the Muslims are the ones who need to stand up and fight the genocide but they're too busy betraying and killing each other. Oh well.
I agree that Muslims present a difficult problem but this is an indigenous Uighur population, not some implant group that is causing issues. These people are being persecuted for their ethnicity. This is oppression and for some reason nobody, not even Muslims, really give a shit. It's fascinating but at least I understand how the Holocaust could happen. Nobody will intervene in China because of some meager Uighurs.
The only one of those evident in the original clip is deception. If you want to say this could turn Orwellian I fully agree but words are important because what you mean to say may not be what other people hear depending on your choice of words. This situation is some amalgam of They Live and Brave New World
If you read Orwell you would understand that this is not Orwellian and to call it such is a great irony. This is an entirely different monster, and while it certainly could turn Orwellian, Orwell envisioned total control by the party, which certainly didn't start out that way but would have never allowed for media programs such as the clip above.
