And I gave up clowning five years ago. lucrative, but a dead end once I finished undergrad.

Mind you, I was a balloon-slinging, cotton candy-making clown that sometimes did magic tricks. These clowns make IT look tame.

Yeah it's known. Some people don't want to hear it.

I've known attendings who came from Caribbean schools, but they graduated top of class, had unbeatable Step scores and generally found ways to make themselves competitive regardless. They earned their spot.

If you graduate with a meh CV from a foreign school, yeah no you won't match

Nah, it's still harder than that to get credentialed as a surgeon. And residency program directors for surgical fields are especially known for being conservative (thank God), less likely to select candidates based on wokeness

He's not the only based millenial from CT. And I gotta say, it sucks that Rush passed now, though he's struggled for years. I am grateful to have grown up listening to him. We'll see him on the other side

I was gifted a 1 year subscription. I'd cancel it if it hurt their wallet, but it was a gift card-like thing.

What to do? I dont wanna support this

Please keep visibility on this bill. It's in House judicial committee now - if it gets out, we need as much pressure on it as was done with ATF and pistol braces.

As far as numbered boxes go, this'll be a determining event should it come to a full vote

What in the actual fuck

Now I have to give this more attention. Not because I have a muzzleloader but because this is where shit is REAL.

Good. God. We're gonna be Weimar Germany before the end of the year if this happens.

I know it and I'm a med student who'll be 400k in debt by 2024

My medical school admins would email and write us ESSAYS after Floyd died, Kenosha, January 6 - and each time I'd pray "PLEASE don't let them embarrass the school by grandstanding before all the facts are out." And each time I'd be disappointed. And this after us STUDENTS were admonished to be careful what we say on social media.

After January 20, it's been radio silence.

Canning is fun. Having to eat nothing but canned food, not so much. Learned to make hard tack a couple weeks ago. Glad to know how, should probly make some more when I have a day.

Admittedly I haven't looked into it in depth, but my understanding is the sheer NUMBER of satellites makes it a non-issue. 800ish (960 maybe?) deployed to date, with 12,000 planned by 2021 and up to 30,000 for global coverage.

This is much bigger than anything done before.
