When they’re here in America, they absolutely belong to their minority groups for all intents and purposes (unless they can pass as white for some bullshit charge in favor of the left). But when abroad, in countries not of their genetic origin, suddenly they are of that countries native population as if to say the natives have no self identity.

This reminds me of when Fox new and other conservative outlets came to the defense of fake news and stood in solidarity with them. Did they think that loyalty would be reciprocated?

Sometimes you have friends (really acquaintances) who share a single interest. Some of us aren’t bubble wrapped in the rust belt with large families and homegrown communities. Also, while I may not agree with all of their stances or political ideals, I’ve also known what it feels like to be captive to a legalistic bible thumping life and I refuse to be in bondage to that again. I choose who I want to associate with and that includes this community.

Well, we still wanted the plan even though we ourselves didn’t exactly need it, being young and healthy. But when I no longer worked there and didn’t have coverage, I looked up the cheapest state provided plan via the ACA (Obamacare) and it was a couple hundred dollars more than what we were paying with the new employer provided Cadillac plan. It also wasn’t nearly as nice. We opted to go without insurance and pay the fine on our taxes. This happened every year and grew more expensive until Trump removed it. We got lucky because it was getting to the point where we couldn’t afford to opt out despite still being in our late 20’s and not needing it.

My company at the time provided us with so called Cadillac plans. When the time came, they called us all into the big board room and gave us a bright and cheery presentation on our new plan. During and afterwards everyone uncomfortably looked at each other knowing that this was the exact same plan, but three times as expensive.
