Nope. I've got 4 dear, very elderly, friends in the same Maryland care home. They all (allegedly) had covid last year (April) ...they all got the vaxx this February. (Don't know which one, cuz I'm not family and the home won't tell me.)
Within 2 weeks of the vaxx, the care home had 52 new covid cases and 6 deaths. And was back in full lockdown. (They'd had just 4 alleged covid deaths from March 2020 to Feb 2021.)

First, she mangles her geography, which is never a good sign in a wannabe diplomat: She declares that she's visiting the northern triangle, and specifies that as Mexico and Guatemala. Mexico, of course, isn't a part of the northern triangle, not at all. Guatemala, meanwhile, is just one member, one of three. The other two weren't mentioned, so no, it wasn't the triangle.
And how's that going to go? Well, just yesterday, Guatemala's president joined Mexico's in laying the blame for the surge at the feet of Joe Biden. That's some pair of meetings she's got ahead of her.
Here's the other thing: The president of El Salvador, another northern triangle member isn't taking White House phone calls, having been insultingly snubbed in February on his trip to Washington by these same Bidenites. Good luck with that one, Kams.
Meanwhile, the leader of the third northern triangle member, the president of Honduras is hopelessly compromised with drug entanglements, though he has his hand out.
I first discovered this was happening back in the early 2000s when I was practicing law in DC. We were preparing an immigration petition for a US pharma co to bring a drug development scientist here from overseas. The data I was reviewing included info that the research included acquisition and experimental use of aborted baby body parts.
I became physically ill (puked)...after I'd wiped myself off, I walked into my partner's office and quit on the spot. Left the firm, left the law, and never looked back.

The party will decline because it has a demographic problem
The Democratic party is dying. That may be hard to believe since Democrats control both houses of Congress and won the last presidential election with a record 81 million votes. But the exiguous margins of their hold on the House and Senate, with fewer than 51 percent of the seats in either chamber, tell another story, as does the desperation of their struggle to abolish the filibuster and federalize election law.
Those policy aims are of a piece with dreams of packing the Supreme Court — and packing the Senate too, by admitting tiny Democratic bastions as new states. The left wing of the party even assails the constitutional principle behind the Senate itself, the idea of equal representation of the states.
Simply put, Democrats know they can no longer win by the old agreed-upon rules, constitutional or otherwise. As recently as the Obama years, they were content with a system of 50 states represented by two senators each — because the party still had a wide enough base of support to win the Senate with an outright majority. They had taken control after 2006, amid the wreckage of George W. Bush’s forever wars, and kept it until 2013. Barack Obama’s coattails in 2008 were strong enough for him take off with 57 Democrats in the Senate and a majority of nearly 80 seats in the House.

Long after the culturally revolutionary New Left had carved its way into what was once a working-class party, bringing not only acid, amnesty and abortion but yuppie economics and new strains of identity politics, voters in what are now red states could still feel a connection to the party of FDR or JFK.
... Yet demographics were supposed to save the Democratic party: a less white America, eventually a majority-minority America, would be a more Democratic America, maybe even a one-party America. This myth still drives the mostly white liberals who lead the Democratic party and the panoply of elite institutions — the mainstream media, the academy, corporate America — that keep the failing patient on his feet.

This is why race-baiting has become not only the most important stratagem but practically the only one that Democrats and their allies resort to in their public messaging. They try to terrify Asian Americans with insinuations that white Americans are targeting them with violence, when the reality is that whites, Asian, Hispanics, blacks and everyone else is most at risk from the lawlessness that Democrats have tolerated (and more than tolerated) in the cities under their control. As they make abundantly clear with every riot, the rising left wing of the Democratic party simply considers law enforcement the enemy. When their publicists write that they really and literally mean ‘Defund the Police’, Americans of all races must believe them.
P.S. DC is ALREADY insolvent. Covid has helped to put it further in the red. Our Metro system is bust, and they're considering closing 15+ stations, including some that used to be major commuter locations. Tourism brought in $8 Billion in revenue in 2018 -- covid killed that. We've lost probably 30% or more of our small businesses / restaurants. More lost corp taxes.
The list goes on and on.
Reasons off the top of my head -- a Senator and a Congressman who are part of the Dem machine and will vote as they're told to vote; an even more massive stream of Federal money to fund Cabal Central.
In terms of whether DC has what it takes to actually be a state -- nope.

Another major consideration -- and possible stumbling block-- is that DC is a Federal Jurisdiction, not an independent entity. All that has to be dealt with.

Thanks for the recommendations. I've never read any of Adams' books, although I follow him on SM. I'll get that one now. I've read Rules for Radicals and Alinsky's other stuff, including his biography-- back when Hussein and his crew took power. Time to dust 'em off and do a review.

Just a bit of perspective from an Old Fart Pede who's been in this battle in one form or another since the 1980s.
They did this to our wonderful historically black community and neighborhoods here in DC. Many of the families traced their roots to slaveholding Catholic families in Maryland and historic plantations in VA. Once ((they)) got Planned Parenthood installed in those neighborhoods, introduced crack cocaine, and put the welfare system on steroids, black families were doomed...and with that death came the death of communities and neighborhoods.
The final nail in the coffin was Home Rule, along with which came the permanent Dem Machine. Their greed and lust for power brought in major developers who bought up all the old black neighborhood properties, tore 'em down or sold 'em to leftist yuppies, and that killed blacks dead.
I've been thinking the same thing. We're now past the point of usefulness of defensive tactics. We've got to adjust and adapt, use what we learned while on defense, and go on the offense ... and hard.
My struggle is to learn what offensive tactics are and how to use them in my own range of effectiveness. It's trial by error, so if you've got pointers, please post 'em here. I think we all need them.
I believe it goes even deeper than that. God created Man and Woman -- two sexes. Marriage is the sacred bond between Man and Woman, and is for the purpose of procreation, children, and family. Families are the foundational unit of society / Civilization.
Homosexuality broke the Divine relationships. Transgenderism is the ultimate destruction of them. No sexes, no marriage, no children, no families...no society...and no civilization.
Just Asexual Sheep ... drones to work for the cabal ...and be harvested/killed off when they're no longer useful.
