IDK. 'secured' implies that a majority of black voters will be filling in a bubble next to Trump's name. Sounds like a bit much. I think we're seeing signs that significantly more black voters are going to turn out for Trump than in 2016.
In 2016 he got 8% of the black vote. There's not a lot of hard data on this. The traditional sources of polling are projecting 8 to 10% which is normal. But, it feels like those polls will be wrong again, just like they were in 2016. One would things that pollsters would change their methods and try and be able to identify the Trump voters but no no they won't. The polls in 2020 are just as fake news as they were in 2016.
I feel like we could be looking at maybe 15 to 16% of the black vote going for Trump. If that happens that would be amazing! I could be very wrong on that in either direction. if Trump gets something like 22 24 maybe something like 25% of the black vote it's over for the Democrat party. If Trump gets something like 12 to 13% of the black vote that is still progress for republicans in the black community.
