Honestly, Republicans should be pushing ranked-choice voting right about now. If they think the Libertarians gave them grief, wait till they face the (non-New England) Patriots.

As for us, well, the Republicans suck, but they still rank better than the Democrats.

For four years, the Left have clung on to the spirit of #Resist. They clung onto it when their champion Hillary fell and Obama disappeared into retirement. For much of those 4 years they had no single leader to rally behind. Now that we are on that position, now that we are on that sale less-favorable ground, do you dare say that we immediately surrender where the Left persevered?

We are the Resistance now. Own it. Fight with greater effectiveness and veracity than on the Left ever had. Regroup for the next battle in 2022. Until then, organize and prepare for home defense. If the Presidency were like the port of Boston, then let your own little corner of America be Lexington and Concord: make them pay the highest of costs if they march directly against you.

It is only the end if you surrender the will to ever fight again. Battles may be lost, campaigns can go awry, ground and crown may be taken away. But as long as there is the spirit of resistance burning - even if it burns softly as a tiny flame in the putrid air of tyranny - the fight continues and the fire remains able to grow.

There is a difference between surrendering the war and regrouping to fight again another day. As long as Trump keeps up the fight from the outside, he remains no more a summer soldier than Washington camping at Valley Forge.

Their Plan:

Step 1: Doxx people who disagree with them politically.

Step 2: Get those people fired from their jobs and shunned from "society".

Step 3: Realize they've just pissed off patriots who are armed and now have nothing to lose because of them.

Their first shot will likely be a rock or bottle. Once physical force is used against you, you are free to fire back immediately with anything at your disposal.

If their first shot just happens to be with a gun, you can bet the aim of these authoritarian order-seekers will be shittier than a stormtrooper's.

So by all means, let them fire the first shot in each encounter so that our greater response will always be justified. And remember that a crushed head for a missed shot at your eye will quickly settle the conflict they bring against you.

I, for one, may or may not have heard from a fellow patriot that a battalion-sized militia of the faithful is staging for a secret attack on a classified op somewhere on the west coast. The staging point is somewhere where they'd least expect: downtown San Francisco, where RPGs are being manufactured in a facility fronted as a cat-themed secret BDSM sex dungeon fronted as a pot shop.

To learn the exact location and to join this crusade, you have to wander the streets until you encounter one of the recruiters. Remember, this is all on the DL, so they'll be dressed as a local - specifically, a hipster with colored hair and a surgeon's mask. Approach the possible-recruiter with a red carnation above your ear, stomp your heel, give the customary dab salute, and say the words, "Hello there." If they respond with silence, an apparent look of shock, or really anything OTHER than "General Kenobi", you'll know you've indeed encountered a recruiter for the Trump Underground. He or she will be suspicious at first, so you'll have to give the paraphrase: "Me me fed boi, lol, mmm-kay?" They'll then lead you to the aforementioned staging area and you'll be filled in on the rest. Godspeed!

But why should Texas or any other patriotic state secede? The country founded in 1776 belongs to the patriots!

Those woke statist progressives who believe in Canadian and EU values over liberty and the Constitution should be the ones who have to leave! Let all of Western California Northwest Oregon, Western Oregon, and the East Coast North of Virginia Beach secede and form their own Proggie nations. Life would be far better for them and for us!

Listen, I didn't become an American just to see it go the way of Canada, the EU or New Zealand. Those Americans In Name Only don't deserve to inherit the country.

And if those AINO Proggies argue that states can't secede, remind them that it's entirely Constitutional for 1) states to give up land and people (as MA and VA have done before) and 2) for non-state US territory to gain independence (as my old country of the Philippines has done).

If they want to keep the country in the divorce, or worse, to stay in this fundamentally-incompatible union, we must use any means necessary to show that it ain't worth fighting for.

Here's the thing: per Texas v. White, states cannot secede. BUT there is ample precedent for states giving up territory or people (Massachusetts giving up Maine, Virginia giving up West Virginia, etc.) and for U.S. terrtiory becoming sovereign independent nations (see: the Philippines).

Just have Texas cede all land and people outside of blue El Paso County (it's even in a different time zone and far away from the rest of Texas, anyway) to a new territory, which can then secede without SCOTUS or Constitutional amendment. That way, de facto Texas can leave while de jure Texas (El Paso County) remains part of the Union.

However, it would be far better if the unAmerican Proggies with their wannabe-Canada/NZ/EU agenda were the ones to leave while the Patriots keep the country and Constitution.

And don't sell it as a Civil War-style "secession". Nobody wants to defend or bring back slavery, yet that's the image that comes to mind for far too many. Sell it as a Progressive Reformation of the American civic religion which ends in a Treaty of Westphalia-style division of different nations with differing ideals. Sell it as an amicable divorce - one that can bring lasting peace to North Ametica in much the same way that the mutual split in the Church has allowed continued peace between Catholics and Protestants post-Reformation.

Why the heck should the red states be the one to secede? The nation founded in 1776 should belong to the patriots. If those wannabe-Canadian Progressives want to have their Proggie utopia to have major departures from the Constitution (no 2A, no equal state allocation of Senators, "living Constitution", etc.) then let them be the ones to depart. Drive them as crazy as possible until they finally get up and take action to secede. They do not get the United States in the divorce.
