I used to get angry at these kinds of realizations. And maybe this is just some weird 45 year old's shower thoughts shit... but there are so many bad endings for criminal types in crime stories: violent deaths (criminals personally suffer or someone near them suffers), imprisonment, ruin in some form, not to mention the paranoia, mental anguish, etc. Even if they escape all this, they all fade away - infamous at "best", but likely just irrelevant and miserable. You don't necessarily have to be incarcerated to be imprisoned. They all get their dues eventually. Make a list in your head of all the lowlifes and ask yourself which ones seem happy (Obamas? Bidens? Clintons?! Pelosi? Brennan?) . It's satisfying.

I came to this conclusion definitively this morning. I saw a Twitter post yesterday from years ago with the likes of Grimace Nader et al on the floor talking about voter fraud and the need to do something about it. I didn't know about that particular moment, but thought maybe there was an opportunity then for the Rs to get onboard. Maybe they tried. I don't know. But I also figured it since the dems were bringing it up, the vote apparently went the Rs way. My conclusion was drawn: cheating is only unacceptable when it doesn't go the right way; the Rs benefitted and didn't care when maybe they could have done something meaningful. Yet here we are. Short sighted and self-serving - the politicians way. It's probably been like this for generations. My Trump party allegiance is now solidified. To hell with the uniparty.
