here are some posts & discussion about alternative platforms I thought were interesting, maybe you would too:
I've been more of a liberal/centrist for most of my life (thank you for betraying everything I thought you stood for, left /s), but I've often wanted to hear "both sides" and different opinions people had about topics, because I wanted to be informed. I remember one issue in particular that was being pushed from the left, and people were arguing about it a lot. And I remember feeling so frustrated -- "well if you think what they're advocating is so wrong, what's the right thing?" It was like people had a bunch of stuff to say about why things were wrong, but they didn't just have someplace you could go where you could receive direction and support for living the right way. For another example, a lot of people were happy to tell me about how horrible premarital sexual intercourse was, but when I wanted support for living that way, it was scarce and hard to find. It shouldn't be that way; support for a basic healthy environment like that should be easy to find and available to anyone who wants it.
I feel in some ways starved for content that's not filled with obvious leftist propaganda, I think a lot of people are. Creating a space that's free from all that might help. I'm so tired of hearing about "hey look at this horrible thing the left did," I mean yes, it's horrible, but I'd rather focus on us and what we can be doing to grow our own stuff and move forward with our own stuff. I don't want to hear about them. I want to focus on our own development. I feel we are lacking in our own media. And lots of people are looking for extra work right now, if the economy needs reorganizing in some ways then this might be a great opportunity to help get cultural stuff made that people need. Make something that people will contribute to enough that you can provide for others who want to devote themselves to helping.
Making it easy to get all the information you need/want without having to listen to a leftist propaganda might be helpful. I'm tired of having to read the leftist narrative to get my information, but sometimes it seems I have to. And I don't know which publications are leftist and which aren't. If I could just have an easy way to click "block" on all the people trying to propagandize me, and if that were easy for anyone who wanted to, their voice might start to seem smaller.
Class-action lawsuits against companies that have been presenting false information might help too. I'm angry now as I see all this censorship and realize how much opposing viewpoints were unavailable to me in the past not because they weren't there, but because they were actively being suppressed. "Silenced majority" being a more accurate term than "silent majority".
People have migrated platforms before, myspace for example is no longer popular. There was a time before people decided to get on twitter and facebook. There was also a time before people knew about all this leftist propaganda stuff for whatever cause they decided to do. And there was a time before Donald Trump was a presidential candidate, and before MAGA, but look at us now. It just takes [someone](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1%25_rule_(Internet_culture)) doing it.
Right now, though, I think we need to be focusing on making sure it's easy for everyone who wants to, to get out and vote for Trump.
almost 100 years, wow. that's a long time. didn't realize it was so long.
