Jan 6th. Trump called for people to show up in the capital (whoever gave DJT this advice and whoever gave that person the advice is where some of the real moles/problems are). Trump's speech said he was going to go to capital hill (with the crowd) this was likely written into the speech (ie on the telepromter ahead of time).
Now, DJT didn't go to Capital Hill.
Clearly there was an option/plan to do so. DJT could have on the capital steps given another speech, sang songs, given a sermon, sung hymnals, had a marching band, he could have even walked into the joint-session and under power from the US Constitution done all kinds of very legal and peaceful things.

One thing about the Constitution; is non-legislative processes for the House and/or Senate (like what is written for congress that isn't written in Article 1) is not a legislative process. So in peach mints or Electors; there is no "normal" chambers process (all that theatre in peach mints 1.0 particularly in the House, not how it's written in the US Constitution. All the joint session Elector theatre on the 6th, not written in the US Constitution.)
The process according to the US Constitution as written in Article 2 is:
1.) Congress tells the State Legislatures the time(frame) WHEN to Select Electors.
2.) Congress says WHAT day the Electors are to meet to cast their votes.
3.) State Legislatures appoint their SLATE of Electors in this time(frame).
4.) The Electors get together in their State and write down the names of who they vote for, for POTUS and for VP.
5.) These votes by the Electors are tallied by the Electors, signed/certified by the Electors, and sealed by the Electors (think similar to how a jury votes in the jury room.)
6.) These sealed totals are sent into the seat of government aka D.C.
7.) All the sealed tally totals are opened in the joint-session.
8.) If someone gets more than half, they win; if not it goes to a contingent election.

What we expected is Pence to use every avenue available to investigate fraud and cheating and acknowledge the fact that these electors were certified by governors when they are supposed to be certified by the legislature in states where voting laws were illegally changed without the consent of legislators ANYWAY.
The VP doesn't have any Constitutional power to do this.
The whole issue including the "certification by the governors" comes from the 1887 Electoral Count Act; it is NOT what's written in the US Constitution; the ECA is completely contrary to what's written, it is unconstitutional.
The whole "voting laws were illegally changed without the consent of legislators" is NOT the job or power of the VP to fix this. This is the power of the State Legislatures & Courts. Just as the VP can't lawfully order troops around like Dick Cheney on 9/11. The VP has no such Constitutional powers written in the Constitution.

It was DJT who was waiting to decide to go with Plan A or Plan B; and trying to give time until the last second. 1.) There isn't time. The commies have been double-time marching for years. They are rounding up political opponents by the thousands every day now. There's NO time to build a 3rd party and cut the commies off at the next pass to stop them.
2.) Have to understand and not let the rhetoric bluepills clould ones reasoning. The "uniparty"; the "DC swamp"; the "deepstate"; etc are really all separate problems; and these problems are very separate from "the party as in the institution of the party".
3.) 90%+ of Republicans are not the people on TV. They are not the swamp. They are normal human beings. 90%+ of Republicans support Trump. 90% of the "republicans" that the marxist media shows clips of or interviews on Sunday shows are not "real republicans" or are at least compromised to some degree (this issue is not related to "building a new party" or "how the internal party works".)
4.) The RNC, again this is where the "real work" at the precinct level comes in. The Party is basically a ground up operation. Because so many of the precinct level is vacant; means the bad apples at the top have way more power than they should.
5.) Even DJT didn't fight Romney being head of RNC, and he had her flying around with him at the rallies. This wasn't "bad" because it was a landslide win. Dems cheating cannot be "fixed" in time; this I is why I explained the WIN WIN Plan; the "Electors" is different legally than "Electors".
6.) For future "Electors"; again this is where controlling the State Legislatures is key; as the Constitution gives them all the power. Republicans currently have 31 ish State Legislatures; and the majority of E.C. votes for Potus/VP. There doesn't need to be "an Election" as we a a Republic NOT a Democracy.
7.) State legislatures also control their State's Election Laws, including machines processes, etc. So places like Atlanta can be cleaned up by the State.
8.) Note: the Party is not one monolithic entity like a commie command center. The RNC doesn't really ever (control) or communicate with State Legislatures like most people imagine.
9.) Most State Legislatures get their start in politics and (fundraising and organization and support and name recognition) AT THE LOCAL LEVEL. This is why the precincts are key to training, recruiting, fundraising, turnout, stopping fraud, detecting RINOs, fighting corruption at the local level (just as our Founders designed our Repubic to be); etc.
