Climate prediction is a pseudo-science at best and a political agenda at worst. In science, prediction from past data is very difficult. If the prediction time horizon is short then there may be some confidence that the prediction could be reasonably accurate. But when prediction time horizon is way out in the future, it is a pure conjecture or put it more nicely a wild extrapolation of data. Mother nature is a mystery. We don’t have full knowledge of how forces of nature are at work. There are so many nonlinear behaviors that would cause a breakdown of any conjecture or wild prediction. In short, climate change is just bull.

The outsourcing started from nothing in 1972, but it built up rapidly until it becomes a huge trend in the late 80's and remains until now. Nonetheless, 1972 marked the year when the American corporations began to realize that they could enrich themselves hugely by shifting manufacturing to China, thereby emptying out factories in the mid-west and contributing to the wage stagnation and the decline of the American middle class.
