It would be a great tragedy to the American justice if no one is held accountable for their parts in the sedition. But then no one was held accountable for JFK assassination either. The deep state is more powerful than the office of the POTUS. I am not sure Barr will deliver out of fear or exposing himself as part of the deep state. Time will tell.
That’s how the US politics is at work. Spend hundreds of million dollars of donor money for an office that pays a $200K a year salary. What irks me is that I used to be able to buy incandescent light bulbs dirt cheap. A four-pack costs one dollar. Now the same four-pack of LED light bulbs with all the over-the-top gizmos like wi-fi costs 64 bucks. LED light bulbs also don’t last as long as they claim. So in the long run, it costs more.

There is a fine line between benevolent and malevolent dictators. I think many people in Germany in the 30's and 40's might have felt that Hitler was a benevolent dictator because he wanted Germany to rise and be prosperous after WWI. His actions toward this goal resulted in a total destruction of Europe and the mass killing of many innocent Jewish and gentile people alike. So a benevolent dictator is one who does what is best for his people but also one who respects the sovereignty of other nations.
