It actually might be the case. There's a theory floating around that whoever loses to Trump nukes their political career. So why not run slow Joe and Kamala? Nobody seriously wants them in office anyway, so save face and throw the fight.

This sad sappy shit does not get people fired up to vote. In-person rallies, humor, patriotism, and positive outlook are what drives people in droves to vote. It's something BObama understood, and of course GEOTUS gets it.

I've got to say, I wholeheartedly agree with his take,
We have pizza joints and liquor stores open as "essential operations" but we want to shut down a nuclear aircraft carrier that is forward deployed. And don't try to tell me there is no way to social distance on an aircraft carrier. These combat ships are supposed to be trained and equipped to handle biological and nuclear warfare. I have been out to sea on many of them and I had a similar virus on a submarine so I have personally led a command at sea through this in much tighter quarters. It can be managed and the mission can continue.
It's going to get worse. Anyone here who's been in the Navy knows as I do - any bug that gets aboard rockets through the crew like wildfire.
I still don't think this is panic-worthy, but so far the Navy hasn't done much to prevent spread and it's annoying.
I don't know about Hillary but Bill certainly has seen a lot of cracks.
