Long story short, we need that 5 minute test to be available everywhere, so that people can test, know the news, then act accordingly. If I tested positive, I absolutely would honor any quarantine, immediately and through 2 negative tests. I think only the most mentally deranged would be out and spreading it once they know they are positive. I know that the Abbott 5 minute test is proprietary, but seems like for this pandemic, they would release the instructions/recipe to private industries to be able to mass produce the test kits/reagents, or whatever else is needed, to get this saturated out there.
Pay Abbott later for releasing this info - make them whole.
Idk if that's the only impact. I suspect that some people out there with robust immune systems and in generally good health could catch the virus and never know it, but with unfettered 'errand running', that healthy person could be shedding virus cells all about.
What I don't understand is why the numbers of these big cities haven't dramatically dropped based on the US-wide 'stay away' 'stay home if you can' three weeks starting March 16 thru (almost 3 weeks) today. Seems like that one move would have made a dramatic impact, even without 100% compliance. That three weeks should have given burnout time for anyone exposed at that point, admitted or elsewise quarantined home at that point, and anyone in the family exposed at that early stage. Why is this not showing up?
I don't doubt the lethality of the disease. Look at the younger people that are succumbing to this disease that are shown - police, firefighters, etc. Yes there are probably co-morbidities associated with this but most 40+ people have something going on with them. I think the Birx Fauci team know that the models are overstated but they can't 'wing it' when adjusting numbers without hard data (like we can, using anecdotal data and common sense) without diminishing their objectivity and reputation as scientists.
So, this mix of hydroxychloroquine and zpak has been discussed for weeks now. Is any company out there actually increasing production or are they just going with the supplies they had in stock? Seems like over the past two weeks, if production was all directed towards these two drugs that the 'shortages for lupus and RA patients' would be completely eased.
Would this guy ( Papa) be in any position to know this info for certain? Or perhaps this is more speculation. And is Downer credible or can he be discredited easily on a witness stand? Going to take more than one little arrow to take down the giant known as Brennan.
