Just a question, if the virus has a 4 - 5 day incubation period, and the country has been quarantined for the past 14 days, and, to date, with (essentially) no experimental treatment being used, and deaths, to date around 2800, how is this number going to jump to 100k within the next couple of months? Wouldn't that mean that the 'positives' would have to jump to 5 million to have a death rate of (2%) 100k? Shouldn't things automatically be tailing off after this two week stay at home?
Acosta was trying really hard to get a negative sound bite from Trump admitting he would do something differently if he had to do it again - Trump saw it coming from the start and wouldn't fall into that trap. Kept calling on Acosta over and over and Acosta couldn't get the answer he wanted.
Perhaps we are overreacting, I'm in rural America so it feels like it (0 cases within 70 miles), but the MSM's propaganda campaign made it impossible for Trump to NOT react because of the appearance he was not doing enough to care for Americans first. What I also see, though, is Trump gearing up these US companies to make these supplies (ventilators, ppe) at home, blunting China's release of bio weapon in the US in the future. The storage areas in US/National Stockpile, are going to be bursting with the new equipment and I'll bet Trump pulls the foreign flight ban even sooner next time. I'll guess, if the theories of this being a bio weapon are correct, that this was China's best effort and they are now rendered ineffective in that area.
On another note, did you notice Trump talking about our new ventilator manufacturing companies (GM included) are going to have a worldwide market going forward? Even in adversity, Trump makes these companies (kicking and screaming) win in the end!

And the vents were delivered on Monday and Tuesday, and Cuomo was on his little soapbox on Weds and Thursday talking about medical personnel having to double up vents and modify them for 2 patients/one machine. How dishonest can you get!
Or short the stock of their employer then do their best to tank the business.
