Exactly right, it has been done before. I was a member of a gun discussion forum that suffered under the same exact thing. There was a state rally, the forum got a bit popular with the attendees and organizing. The shills showed up and we had to do some serious damage control. Prior to this, it was moderated very little, and sign up was easy, we had to crack down pretty hard.
Same, there were a couple of other subs that I checked out. Most are gone in "the purge"....don't care. They can live in their echo chamber.
I do love poking fun at people who go there and try to tell me how great it is. Ridicule is a great weapon against leftists, they meltdown so easy.
