Let us pray for mothers in this day:

Righteous God, I thank you for all mothers and pray that You keep them under your countenance. I thank you for all the mothers who You have been present, comforting their children in these evil days. I thank you for all the mothers, both biological and spiritual, who are clothed with strength and dignity. Thank you for the mothers who open their mouth with wisdom and whom the teaching of kindness is on their tongue. I declare that her children shall rise up and call her blessed; everything that her hand touches shall be nurtured with grace and love! In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Have faith my friend, God loves you and your mother. Stay in prayer for her and give her your unconditional love. Many school employees are getting the shot, we pray they will be protected by our heavenly Father. No doubt He has a heart for people who love children.

Let me encourage you today. . . don’t stop praying for your husband and your marriage. Your job is not to change your husband. That’s God’s role. Your job is to love him and pray for him and leave the transforming power to God.

Indeed, I think the fore fathers were so aware of the possible corruption that could be manifest under a free society. The responsibility of guarding freedom always falls to the citizens of a free society. Peace and grace to you and yours.

Storing your treasures posted 6 hours ago by 7seven7 +59 / -0 In Matthew 6:19-21, Jesus says “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Treasure is linked to the heart. What does our heart long for? Does it treasure the things of this world like money, fame, possessions, security, success, power and influence? Or is our heart longing for Jesus to be the greatest treasure in our life, both now and for eternity?

It is not necessarily wrong to have money, but we need to know the dangers of what it can do to us. Paul says in 1 Timothy 6:9-10, “those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.”

We are storing up treasures on earth if the object of our affection is centered on ourselves and what we can accumulate. It can result in our ruin as well as falling away from faith. Yet, if our greatest treasure is Jesus, we will desire to put our time, money, resources and talent on pursuits that glorify Him and we will store up treasures in the kingdom of heaven.

Peace and Grace to you

Historian Elizabeth Fenn, author of Pox Americana: The Great Smallpox Epidemic of 1775-1782, claims that “Washington's unheralded and little-recognized resolution to inoculate the Continental forces must surely rank with the most important decisions of the war…"

  1. “The Man must be bad indeed who can look upon the events of the American Revolution without feeling the warmest gratitude towards the great Author of the Universe whose divine interposition was so frequently manifested in our behalf.”

—Washington’s letter to Samuel Langdon, September 28, 1789

George knew that we were to be "one nation under God" smart guy that George.

Of course, seeking that which is righteous and in the will of our Heavenly Father, loving His children. The new commandment "love the Father and Love His children" that is something that is worthy of investment and will by no means offend anyone. Peace and Grace to you

That is a interesting thought, you imply that they should invest in political motives or something else. Peace

Indeed, the motive of intention is always the crucial matter. What one does with wealth or power is at the crux of the heart being exposed. Very nice observation. Peace

Thanks for that perspective, the point being that financial success or power is not bad or evil in it's self, but that it should not take control of your being. All of the earthly wealth will pass away, but your soul is eternal, to be successful is to be aware of this. To promote good over evil and as we have been made aware there is much evil that needs to be brought down. There is so much good that is yet to be done. Peace
