Minor point of disagreement. I'm with you that Yang is a misguided idealist who would have his utopian bubble burst in pretty short order. Buttguy on the other hand is a snake. I don't trust him. Everything about him seems so fake to me. I don't think anybody has a clue what kind of damage he could inflict.

Hey, our salvation came from a hobo carpenter who hung out with a bunch of fishermen. This isn't much of a stretch.

Note: I'm not trying to be sarcastic or cynical in calling Jesus a hobo.

But Jesus replied, "Foxes have dens to live in, and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place even to lay his head."

-Luke 9:58

If she resigns and becomes Vice Pretender-elect, she gets cut out of the loop and only gets what the transition team gives her, which I'm guessing is not much.

As a sitting Senator, she has access to more intel that she can feed back to whoever is handling the coup.

https://thesoundingline.com/brief-the-us-needs-to-find-a-new-china-every-year-to-fund-growth-in-national-debt/

This is the article that graphic was lifted from.

Obviously, fuck China because China is asshoe, but we could at least pay off debt held by our allies. With Poland standing against Big Tech censorship, that's as good a place to start as any.

I saw a graphic posted on here a while ago. It broke down what percentage of the national debt was owed to whom. I'll see if I can find it again.

Not surprised. We all saw the look in his eyes. They probably had to mop up a puddle of piss after they took that.

I'm of 3 minds on this subject.

On the one hand, "Booooo! Communism bad!"

On the other, "Hell yeah, gimme my shit back!"

Finally, my better angels are saying, "Use that money to pay down the national debt. It's a start."

And ballots must be retained for not less than 10 years in the event that the election results must be reevaluated for any reason.

Gotta nerd out for a minute. Hutts are hermaphroditic. That makes this even funnier.

I know what you mean. I was in college when Obama was elected the first time. I tried to debate policy, and everyone called me a racist. I can remember being downgraded once or twice because my papers weren't woke enough. It all feels like a waste now. I have a degree in chemistry, and I make more money driving a truck than I ever did as a lab tech. And I mean significantly more money; 35% higher base pay and more overtime to boot. I know, it wouldn't be like this if I went back for my PhD, but I have a family to feed. I need to be working, not sitting in a classroom.

Tell your kids, success isn't measured in diplomas. The most important lessons you'll ever learn won't come from a classroom. Dedicate your entire life to learning, not just a few years. I'm still acquiring new skills. No matter what life throws at me, I know I can adapt to it. I have my chemistry degree, CDL with HAZMAT, HAZWOPER certification, emergency medical training, I'm a half decent welder, and I'm a pretty good cook. You learn whatever you can wherever you can, and you'll always be ready. That's the real key to success, being ready to seize opportunities whenever they come along.

The Jr. alone is enough. That matters. My dad still signs everything Jr. even though his dad has been dead for 35 years. Without that, those electors could just as easily been submitted for a decaying fossil...

...I mean, a DIFFERENT decaying fossil.

I wasn't trying to make a serious comparison. I know that people have been claiming that they're in the last days for centuries. They used to say that Gorbachev was the Beast because his birthmark was the "deadly wound."

I just found it ironic that the prophecy mentions 10 kings who conspire with the whore, and we have 10 RINO reps who sided with the whore.

12 And the ten horns which thou saw are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

Couldn't help but notice, how many house Republicans voted for impeachment?

Speaking only for myself here, but it has less to do with Trump and more to do with America.

I believe in the United States of America. I refuse to believe that this country will fall. I see what Trump has endured, and I believe that his belief is the same as mine. The only reason someone would persist in the face of all the hate and slander is if they truly put the country above themselves.

In short, I believe because I refuse not to. It may not be a satisfying answer, but it's all I have to give.

Even in war, you don't go after noncombatants. You do everything in your power to minimize civilian casualties. Cutting off the food supply to a city, even an enemy occupied city, is not something that I would advocate as gleefully as you seem to.

Hey, I know good people who have businesses in a blue stronghold city. One in particular is a little mom & pop grocery store in a very impoverished area. Some of their customers literally walk a mile to get food because they can't afford a car, and there's nothing closer. How is shutting down that business and hurting people in that neighborhood going to help our cause?

It's just the funny smell from the upstairs apartment that gets people's attention.

It's a shame they're using coiled razor wire instead of old school straight line barbed wire. That would tell you something. If it's angled out, it's to keep us out. If it's angled in...

I just had a vision of Biden being given a cognitive test.

"Mr. Biden, do you know who the President is?"

"I AM!!"

"Sure you are Joe... whispers Get the sedative."

You know, domestic air travel may be completely unnecessary these days. Bear with me for a moment.

We already saw mass caravans travelling cross country. People are willing to do it, and I'd wager that many enjoyed it. Unless you're flying first class, modern vehicles are every bit as comfortable as flying, if not more.

What if somebody were to establish a coast-to-coast ridesharing service? The pony express used relay stations where riders could get fresh horses. Since cars don't need food or sleep, this would require switching for fresh drivers instead, allowing for near continuous travel.

So, car picks up a rider, drives until the driver can't go anymore and a new driver takes over. Driver 2 continues to the next relay station. Driver 1 gets some rest and waits for another car coming through.

I'm gonna have to crunch numbers on this. I might be embarking on a new business venture...

Maybe I'm reading too much into things, but in the midst of yelling at people to come up, did somebody mutter "they're gonna pay for this"? Were they mocking the people they were inciting?

You might want to look into the cyber charter schools. That's how I graduated after I got kicked out of public and private schools (I had issues with authority). The one I did was Pennsylvania Distance Learning Charter School. They actually have field trips where kids can meet up and a big graduation ceremony at Penn State. It's not the same as having daily face to face interaction, but there isn't much of that these days anyway.

And whereabouts in PA are you? My youngest is 4. My wife and I would love to see him have some friends.

We're getting awfully close to 70x7.

I agree, avoid petty retaliations, but there's a limit.
