The illusion we are all alone should have been washed away by this election turn out for our side. Our vote totals are only questionable in the regard that they maybe suppressed. People need to inform themselves so they don’t look like morons defending their positions, but they need to speak up.
That’s a daily occurrence for many children with above average intelligence. I once got into an argument with my Advanced Biology teacher over the difference between exons and introns. I answered the question correctly on a test and she marked it wrong because it wasn’t what she taught in class (she had them backwards). I showed her in the text and off the internet that she was wrong. She sent me to the Principal’s office. They also refused to make her correct it, and gave me in school suspension. Schools are for indoctrination, and breaking spirits.
I am strongly considering moving to Texas. My wife is coming around to the idea. The problem is that I have 3 houses in MD and a business here. I don’t really have marketable skills backed by a degree so I would need to rely on starting a new business quickly enough to pay our bills. I have 5 kids. I was raised in Pensyltucky, PA. If I could sort out the income portion I’d be moving soon.
I think the problem is 2 fold. I don't think they have quite enough funding, and they don't have the equipment on hand as a result due to the overwhelming new demand. I'm sure there is a limited pool of trustworthy investors, especially if they do not want to be beholden to anyone due to finances. I'll give them some time, but it has been less than enjoyable so far. However, it looks like a nice interface when it runs probably.
Yeah, imagine how many would have signed up if it was loading at a reasonable speed. I’m excited to see how it functions once the server situation is resolved.
On a side note, it seems this site and gab both use Cloudflare and I get their pop ups CONSTANTLY. Any possibility they are impeding access to slow growth and mess with the user experience?
As soon as I found this site, because of him, I could no longer see value for me in his site. I quickly realized his breaking information and research comes directly from reading this site. He is no longer relevant for me, and I have no need to sit through his waffling.
Something important to know about Elon. He literally wants to change the world and make it better. He also thrives on solving problems. I would not be surprised to see him step into the arena and offer alternative tech solutions.
Don’t get too excited on the website. It’s definitely it my area of expertise, but I can make a functional, informative landing page and capture information for those that want to participate and collect donations to start making it bigger...and probably hire someone to make a better page at that point lol.
I feel like people should stop worrying about an app and just use a website. It’s almost the same thing as just saving an icon as a link on your phone and will take less memory on your phone, and maybe less fucking spying on your phone too.
We just keep letting this awesome resource go to waste. We should be organizing protests at media and big tech, organizing boycotts, and organizing phone and email campaigns. We are missing an opportunity to take power back and start leveling the field because everyone just shitposts and laughs at memes.
