From a military perspective, wouldn't there be a war even if Texas were to legally secede? The number of military and federal bases there makes for a problem; they won't just give those up, besides considering the loss of a big state. The pressure from it could be an excuse to ratchet up excuses for a fight. I'm not sure what excuse they'd make for violating the secession rules to try to fuck over Texas, but pretty sure they'll try if secession happens. Probably say the secession was triggered by MAGA domestic terrorists and doesn't count.
Even though Texas is the only one with the secession path legally, a secession with red states together actually seems more plausible.
No idea about the merits of the study conducted but... fit's my experience perfectly. Trying to find a counter example I've known, but can't. And I like a lot of people with flaws, but none of this type has coincided with a friend or valued acquaintance.
I only said it's possible to be a mistake. I don't think it's an accident. With regard to getting the investigation process going, someone might look at it and say it's a few pictures that were found by chance, etc. Technically, that's true, but I don't believe it is given the patterns. Patterns aren't persuasive to outsiders though.
The best thing to do would be to investigate forensically and find the people responsible for those batches, and demand investigations of the provider. Food providers certainly have service contracts that must be upheld, and FDA law. This is lawsuit material, and revocation of license material. No way these can pass. There has to be action on this. Not only do I think it's not true there is a Trump-endorsed effort (or any significant effort at all) to reduce urban area polling places, that would not even help at present, because the problem was they kept counting votes delivered after polls closed. Letting them count ballots without supervision and past the voting date was the actual problem. There's no reason to think urban polling place availability hurt us, it's a problem over the accuracy and validity of what they counted.

The problem is voting security. And implying barring a race from voting "evens" the playing field, if that's what you meant, is illogical. Also, "heavier restrictions"? There were basically no restrictions this past year.
Banning races that favor the other party is absurd on every level. Trying to do this would backfire politically. Indeed. Massively, according to pre-election polls and still in post-election surveys gained from 2016, which was already better than any past Republican in recent era. The main correlation with the areas that had weird vote dumps with race when it clearly tracks with Democrats. It's not just Detroit. Look at Wisconsin. This is a problem of vote security and Democratic assholes.
I would dispute the demographics to the level you allude to. Detroit has been a corrupt city for a long time, so the problem isn't really the voters, it's who handles and counts them, who hires them, and who sets up the system of the entire process. In MI, the AG and Governor are white, and the people choosing who to employ for election workers might also be (Detroit is under a county that had about half white officials, at least when it came to the certification process). There's obviously bad actors from multiple races.
Meanwhile, if you say black people should be stopped from voting, that does make us into the bad guys, loses us our high ground, and gives a ton of strength to the Dems argument that they should fight voting security laws because they're just a tool to disenfranchise black people. Like, you basically admitted to their main accusation.
Also, Trump said there were problem spots but he never implied anything about race, that again is a Democratic narrative that misconstrues what he said. He talked about specific people or places regardless of race.
