We need a meme-creation subreddit that is 100% for new memes.

Trump actually fixed the "catch and release" system. No future President should be doing it because he got rid of the legal reason that it existed.

The Texas border is largely owned by private land owners, so the government has to seize the land first via longer legal processes. This is why it is so empty.

The other state borders are already owned by the US federal government.

There are a few types of wall that Trump has been building.

  1. 18 foot bollard steel. For low priority areas.

  2. 30 foot bollard steel. For higher priority areas.

  3. Levee wall. This can be either 18 or 30 foot steel bollards with a high concrete base for resisting rain water.

  4. Special mention: Double walls. In extremely high priority areas, such as San Diego, they actually build two walls alongside each other. The extra wall is called secondary wall in the official project names, but it is the same type as the other walls.

Personally I think the wall will be at least 1500 miles if Trump gets 4 more years.

Border Patrol at one point gave a cost estimate for 1250 miles back in the early days of the Trump administration. But there are more miles than that along the border which do not have natural barriers. And as you build walls in one location, the illegal traffic will shift to the open locations.

Now that Trump has a ridiculous amount of military funding available, he can go above and beyond what Border Patrol originally asked for. The military construction budget is about $10B per year and gets replenished every year, and Trump can literally use it all if he wants to. God knows the military will have enough funding in the future for their construction projects, they can go a few years without it for the sake of stopping illegal immigration.

The wall is not just a symbol. It is a significant addition to stopping illegal border crossings.

Trump has funded about 760 miles now in total. The only question is how fast the construction crews can actually build it.

That being said, if he gets 4 more years, we will get the entire border secured no problem.

Can I fire a transgender person because I don't trust mentally ill people to be my employees?

It has nothing to do with gender. It has to do with sanity.

The bad news: We need another 4 years to finish the wall.

The good news: If we get another 4 years, the wall will actually be finished.

Trump has funded about 700 miles of wall so far but construction is slow, around 1 mile per day or less right now, possibly even slowing down due to the virus shutdowns. We need 4 more years to finish the rest of it. He can also fund several hundred more miles per year with his capability to redirect defense spending, but it will take time to build. Just remember to VOTE.

Your daughter sounds like she needs to be moved up a grade for math class. Not sure if that is possible in 2nd grade, but you could ask.

Government doing shit like this usually makes the economy worse in the long term. Many economists believe that the New Deal actually prolonged the Great Depression by several years by interfering with the market's natural recovery. We know for a fact that historically, every recession recovers organically even if the government does nothing about it. The 1800's was full of recessions that ended quickly while the US federal government did basically nothing about them.

The economy will be "fixed" as soon as people are able to return to being productive. They will do this on their own as soon as the virus scare passes. They can't return to being productive as easily when government is standing in their way, such as by mandating quarantines and business closures. Individuals and businesses should be allowed to decide for themselves if they need to self-quarantine or not.

To be completely honest, you need to adjust Trump's numbers for population growth of each individual state over time. I'm sure they would still crush though.

You guys could monetize by selling pro-Trump and pro-USA merch as affiliates.

Notice how they didn't even tell me what content I "engaged with" that earned me the suspension. How the fuck am I supposed to know what I did "wrong" and correct it without any information at all? Oh and I can't even look through my profile to see what subreddits I may have posted or commented in that earned me the suspension, because they cover up your public profile when you are suspended.

Reddit is truly a communist shithole now. I hope a replacement arrives and helps them die like Digg and Myspace. There is enormous demand for REAL FREE SPEECH on the internet and these far left tech oligopolies have no intent on allowing it to happen.

Leftists think that asking the homeless to behave with decency (or anyone, really) is "oppression".

Literally.

When the subreddit is banned (probably right before the 2020 election) the numbers here will skyrocket x100 at least.

The mods better be ready by then to handle the increased traffic load. Also this site still needs some dev work to get it up to par.

This site still needs some dev work before people will want to use it as much as T_D.

Also as someone who uses the Reddit redesign, going back to the old style Reddit is quite jarring. I really like the redesign for everything except that its pages load slower.

  1. I request the ability to collapse comments by clicking the line next to them. It's my favorite part of the Reddit redesign.

  2. When you collapse a comment, the name and collapse button should not move a little bit like they do now. They should stay still. This is just a tiny pet peeve of mine but it's technically bad design to have an interactive element of the page unexpectedly move when you activate it.

  3. It would be nice if collapsed comments stay collapsed after refreshing the page.
