He will win NH in November. Likely Minnesota too. Maine and Nevada I am less sure of, but possibilities too.
Happy to reply I got a new dev job, permanent, not contract. It is with a defense contractor and requires citizenship and security clearance. Unfortunately, it seems like these are becoming the only type of jobs available in my field to non-immigrants. You give good advice, I'm going to do everything I can to live modestly so I can save and put that extra money to work for me. Also planning to get some cheap woodland property in case of a SHTF situation.
NHpede here with an on-the-ground report. We all know people who are voting Trump or would never ever vote for him. The in-betweens, the apolitical people, even the ones that occasionally re-post anti-Trump FB posts, almost universally think Biden is a terribad choice and, even if they don't like him, think Trump is better. Many will vote Trump, but the ones that voted for Obama and Hillary will likely sit this one out. NH will go red. Screencap this.
This one hits home hard. I (former US Marine) was let go from my Java developer contract job during covid19-related layoffs in April. Meanwhile, a week before, I had to clap in a meeting as they happily announced two H1B employees went from contract to full time. Later I asked my boss about it (not his decision btw) in a non-salty way. He said there is a 'hiring freeze' right now but an exception was made so they wouldn't get deported. I've been looking for work ever since.
