The J&J vaccine is the same as the influenza vaccine - it introduces deactivated segments of the coronavirus and lets your immune system mount an attack. That's why it's a "one and done" just like the flu vaccine.
The only difference is the fragments are pulled into the cell instead of free floating in the bloodstream, and when that cell naturally dies, the normal housekeeping of your immune system can adapt to the spike proteins that it finds when disposing of that cell.
If it were in fact a high probability we wouldn't be seeing only 6 deaths so far. Even the overblown danger of covid is far higher than that.
All vaccines have had a kill rate of some kind, all of them. The flu vaccine kills every year. It was simply decided that the mortality rate was low enough to justify the lives it saved. To halt this one after just 6 deaths in millions when so many more have died or been mamed by the pfizer and moderna injections isnt out of an abundance of caution, it's to remove the choice from the market.

It's not what you think - the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is the only actual vaccine out there - it uses the same process as the flu vaccine. ie: It's the one that ISN'T modifying your mRNA. Don't get me wrong, my personal stance is you couldn't pay me to take any of these vaccines. I'd rather catch covid and let my body do it's thing than have some poorly understood process alter my mRNA. These vaccines have had scant testing and pharma companies have been released from all liability despite all of them having a pretty horendous history of fraud and deceit. But if I was forced to choose the lesser of all evils, I would choose the J&J.
They're still testing it
