The photos came out the day before Tucker gave his "Hunter is a great guy - these allegations must be false" show. He knew what he was doing, and when those same photos and messages became mainstream fact, where was Tucker to apologize for supporting the lies?
Tucker is on the right side of most issues, but when it came down to the line, when he had to give up something to get the truth out, he chose the safety of the lie. Tucker is not a bad guy, but he failed the country when it needed him the most. Don't put him on a pedestal, he has shown he will betray our trust rather than risk a frown from his social circle.
You are correct on all counts except one - the dems don't care if they look like tyrants, they already do. The democrat leadership is interested in only two things - power and money. They don't care what law they break or what lies they tell, or what damage they do to the nation as long as it leads to more power and money. They are the ones who have committed treason, they have betrayed their oaths. But so long as they hold their ill gotten power, they will continue on their path of destruction.
And you're right, not only is there no such thing as an impeachment trial for a president who does not currently hold office, but the constitution stipulates it SHALL BE the Chief Justice who presides. Justice Roberts has declined, but they're proceeding anyway, so we can assume this will be a kangaroo court, a propaganda stunt meant to attack conservatives. Nothing that happens will have the force of law though they will declare it does. What's one more lie to these people?
Remember that the FBI had been sitting on those images for months, and Guliani had seen them as well as the repair center guy. These were substatiated pieces of evidence.

With Kamala Harris presiding over the trial, there is no chance they will give Trump a chance to present his case for election fraud. The dems will narrowly limit all evidence to focus on his one speech at the capital. These people do not respect the law, why would they give a defendant a chance to present their case? Especially when that defendant is President Trump.
At the time he was denouncing it, the Hunter photos were already circulating on the net. A lot of people had seen the evidence and were looking forward to Tucker eviscerating Biden. Instead he played the fool and defended him. Tucker didn't jump all over it until it no longer mattered.

The reason doesn't matter honestly. Without the Chief Justice presiding, it's not an impeachment trial. It wouldn't matter which way the vote went, it would not have the force of law.

If anyone in the Senate cared about facts, this wouldn't even go to trial, it would be immediately dismissed. It doesn't matter how bullet proof the case is, the vote will be purely political.
When the Hunter scandal broke, and evidence of the Biden family corruption and even the insanely immoral activities between Hunter and his dead brothers wife's 14 year old daughter, Tucker came out and called it all a lie and actually pushed the lie that Hunter was a fine upstanding guy. He did this because of their family connections - he sold out the country and pushed the lie because he didn't want to get on the bad side of his little social clique.
If he had opted to simply not cover it would be one thing - but to strongly push the lie severely undercut the ability of Americans to know the truth about the Bidens. He had a massive audience at the time and could have made a real difference. He failed the country that day. He has no right to come out as being on the right side of things now.
No rational reason for it. The irrational reasons revolve around buying cheap chinese hardware (which happens to be connected to the net) or kick back deals like Biden made with Hunter. Couple billion here, couple billion there, and a hundred million finds its way into Bidens pocket.
When you see someone like Biden who started with little money and became very wealthy just being a politician, you know some criminal shit is going on.
Nuclear is the ONLY option if the end goal is eventually replacing gas/diesel with electrical power. You can't be pro CO2 reduction and not also be pro Nuclear if you're a rational person. Trying to replace all fossil fuel energy sources with solar and wind is a fantasy - it can't be done.
These people need psychological help. You don't reinforce a delusion. If a schizophrenic went to the doctor about voices telling him to do horrible things, you don't reassure them that it's "Ok to be you" and the voices are real.
Isn't this a clear case of 1st amendment violation? It's a government site, the public has a right to voice their opinion without being censored.
That's not entirely true - America had a cohesive culture when it came to concepts like justice and merit, the idea that this is a country of opportunity where you can improve yourself if you try. These concepts have been poisoned by the left... that's where the problem lies. They don't espouse a work ethic, they push for hand outs in exchange for personal liberty, and all too many of the bottom dwellers are happy with that Faustian bargain.
