A week ago they announced they're looking into classifying weapons with stabilizing braces as firearms, which the ATF would then make you pay a tax stamp for.
They were inviting comments from the industry and the public regarding this, and have now withdrawn that letter. They got a lot of pushback, but the ATF is still probably thinking about making you pay extra money for gun braces because it's an organization that wants to take away your God-given 2A rights by making it too expensive to own firearms.

Hate crimes should not be a thing. We have judges for a reason. They JUDGE the crime and if it was race based or whatever, the judge will give a harsher sentence. Making laws based on race is racist.
