I was also a career paratrooper, but ended my last 10 in sof. The NG is diet military... just not quite the real thing. there are a few very few guard units that are active enough to maintain standards such as 19th and 20th SFG. I served with them in Afghanistan Iraq the Philippines and other than the above mentioned they are all undisciplined and severly lack skills. the only 2 units i've ever seen take their job serious is the above mentioned SFG's..... IF YOU ARE A NG SOLDIER THAT MAINTAINS STANDARDS IM NOT TALKING ABOUT YOU.
its all a load of shit to attempt to give Biden more legitimacy. Even saw Nancy Pelosi trying to order some National Guard privates around. National Guard are not real soldiers and should not have ammo. Most of those guys are cooks and logistics. I don't think any combat arms mos's deployed

OMFG I cant take it.... THOSE ARENT FUCKING SOLDIERS, they almost all work at chick fillet or Burger King and do this one weekend per month. an active duty infantryman would eliminate half a platoon before they could even react. Those aren't the ones who run to gunfire, they fix our fucking lunch. and don't even start about their team being best ranger, doesn't count our team was deployed.
