Find a good curriculum, that's are lots of there. Start by looking through Cathy duffys website. A good curriculum will give you everything to need to teach your kids. A parent who cares, is 100% more qualified than even the best public school teacher who is trying to teach 20-30 students she barely knows, using the exact same curriculum and teaching style for every single one of them.
You can homeschool and work outside the home. It only takes a short time a day to teach younger kids in the evenings when you get home, and older kids can be given assignments to work on while you're gone, then touch base when you get home to help where needed. The only thing you have to worry about is child care during the day for younger kids. Also, in many states, it's legal to homeschool other people's kids, which gives a lot of options for people who work, to trade school days around work schedules. There's also programs like prenda that helps people organize micro schools. Look into your states laws, you probably have more options than you think.

Absolutely no reason to get a test. A test doesn't change whether you are sick or not, it just adds to their stupid mess of statistics. If they tested the flu,like they do covid, the numbers would look just as bad if not worse... actually, covid probably is just the flu.....
Yes, please. I am unable to go. Not because of finances or travel, but because I have young children and no one to keep them for me. I am not going to take young children into that because if it goes as it should, it wouldn't be safe for them. I would love to be able to watch what I can though, and help where possible.

I'm waiting to see if she defends the people from the city mayors. Rapid city is trying to pass a mask mandate now, even though the vast majority of the people speaking are against it. They want to have heavy fines for non compliance. I think her stance is generally to stay out of local city business, but I know she had a bit of behind the scenes influence on lifting the city shut downs in the spring, so anything is possible. There's an anti mask protest Monday, if anyone is local and needs the info.
At least in rapid city, our hospitals are strained due to short staffing, not a lack of beds. The short staffing came on the heels of the school board moving to say home learning instead of in person. I suspect they are linked... Like maybe nurses have to take care of their kids during the day or something now?
You know, I feel like bibi is probably just reacting to the news he was given in the way that had been generally accepted in the past. he bet on Trump being understanding and continue to support him and Israel, where he would have to fight for any support from Biden. Honest question, why is it outdated? Why would they have outdated information on the sos website? Why does it say that it was just updated? I have really been trying to figure this one out and I just don't know why the state would be wrong about their own elections.
Is it homeschooling, or public school at home? I only ask because as the line between homeschool and public school blur, it gets easier to impose restrictions on homeschooling. Even in South Dakota, they tried to push to force homeschoolers to enroll in online public school at home because ' what's the differencey?' and ' everyone gets what they want' thankfully it failed, but they will try again.
