Jan 6th is not the "last chance to demonstrate that the Second Amendment counts for something." Republicans have always been the party of civility. When all opportunities to resolve this in a 'civil' and legal manner are exhausted then and only then will the Europeans and the rest of the world see why the 2A exists. The Founding Fathers never wrote the 2A into the US Constitution to be utilized arbitrarily or initially.
There are far too many armed civilians and far too much justice to be dispensed to allow for us to quickly put that genie back into the bottle. Solving this matter utilizing legal mechanisms offers the least negative impact on society. A civil war would be very destructive to our country and society as a whole. Society appreciates your patience. Even though our enemies are marching towards us, we're not at the point where we can see the white's of their eyes yet.

Life is far more complex and nuanced than you give it credit. You are only formulating your 'dooms day' opinion on what you see, rather* what you are allowed to see*. In chess, sometimes you have to sacrifice some pawns to win the game. Sadly, I assume this is what's going on with his support of the vaccines. Very sad indeed but we are at war with the globalists/communists.
As 'president' Trump has access to unbelievable top secret information. It's from this pool of knowledge and insight that he makes decisions, some of which may look irrational to us, the uninformed citizenry, but play a role in a larger strategy.
President Trump knows where the chess pieces are on the board. And like in chess, it is wise to trick your opponents. He tricked them by setting a trap (leaving the 2020 election unprotected) and giving them the opportunity to take the bait (by cheating), because the end goal is not to take down just a handful of corrupt individuals -- it's to drain as much of the swamp as possible (win the game). This is what Trump supporters are referencing when they say that Trump is playing 4D chess.
It's also important to note that the best strategy for Trump is also the most difficult. Remember the more disruptive this election can be to American society, the greater it hurts our economy, unity, and disrupts our ability to respond to secondary attacks from our adversaries (China, Russia, etc.) To a great extent it appeared like a win/win for China because they clearly took the bait. If Biden wins, China will walk all over the US and not suffer any significant consequences. If Trump wins it allows China to surpass America while we are busy going through a civil war that the Chicom sponsored Democrats are sure to create.
BUT, and this is a J.Lo size but(t), If Trump can bait, capture, and punish the swamp, AND avert/minimize a civil war, America will have suffered little more than some stress. Then it gets fun. Then Trump can use the foreign interference to rationalize completely detaching the US economy from China. This would effectively crush China, and the US will never even have to fire a single bullet.
The rabbit hole goes a lot deeper than that, but my comment should help restore your faith that we are on the right track and things are working in our favor.
