Okay... that’s 5-6 weeks for an easily detectable heartbeat. Most people can still abort the “embryo” via chemical (pill) process before 5 weeks. That’s not “the biggest issue” most people cry about. It’s the fact that planned parenthood, and others are aborting after that. Long long after that. As you said, murdering fetuses. The problem comes with where people draw the line. YOUR line is a heartbeat. Most pro lifers is conception. Most people, I believe, just want the intervention to be BEFORE you have to abort. What is the problem with a woman getting an iud or taking a pill or shot or using a sponge or diaphragm to avoid pregnancy?? Even a morning after pill up to 72 hours after sex. No one is saying men HAVE to wear a condom (heaven forbid men take any responsibility for preventing pregnancy). I’m not saying don’t use intervention (btw, a lot of people diagnosed with cancer, knowingly did NOTHING to get it, so that’s a horrible similarity to use, no one is arguing medical intervention is a bad thing for a disease, if you want it.) Ironically, the same people who are okay with killing babies via “medical intervention” are the biggest anti death penalty people in a lot of cases. The argument is where is an ACCEPTABLE line for EVERYONE to draw, on when is murdering babies okay? Why can’t medicine help women with an iud/ pill/ shot instead of waiting for abortions? Or is preventative medicine racist or some other “triggered word” too?
No one is trying to force people to raise a child. I think most of us believe in other options besides killing babies. I.e. birth control.... or adoption. Lots of people have to adopt out of country, or wait YEARS. Its fundamentally the killing of babies we don’t agree with. What part of baby killing do you agree with? Can we all not agree it is preventable? Or worst case... adoptable? How’d they get to the “just kill the baby”, despite it not being the babies fault IN ANY WAY??? And have you ever looked into how they do it? Thanks to Obama, many states allow full term abortions. Killing a baby, that if born, would live on its own. I can’t believe I’m actually taking the time to explain this to you. You’ll probably just argue back some idiotic way to excuse it still.
