He is fearless, curses like a sailor and tells it as he sees it. Very entertaining. I discovered him during the summer and watch him for relief. Sometimes we need it.
He is like Tim Pool, only not a fence sitter. And funnier.
Native German speaker here. "Das Boot" means "the boat" in English. Yes, boat as in ship, floating vessel.
Your line makes no sense unless implied that you mean the English word boot, as in shoe. Now that word would be Stiefel in German ("sh-teefell).
But even if you were using the correct word Stiefel in this context, nobody would understand it, because "getting the boot" is an idiom that only Americans use. You can put it into foreign language words and it still is an American-only idiom.
I really despise this American practise of highjacking German words into nonsensical bullshit, done by show-offs who just hope that nobody's going to notice.
You've exposed yourself as an idiot. Congrats.
No, I think Tiffany's mom was really just an affair that accidentally expanded due to her pregnancy. He married her, but it didn't last.
There is a half good documentary on Netflix about Trump's background, check it out if you can.
The Myrdoch boys are running it now with their wives, and at least one son and his wife (forgot their names) are extreme leftists.
That's not a secret, it was widely discussed right after the election, I just didn't care to remember their names.
DC hotels are pricy and likely booked, but you can take the Metro (light rail) into Northern Virginia, like Alexandria. There are plenty of cheaper hotels in walking distance from the train station (Amtrak and Metro use same station).
From the south you can take Amtrak and get off Alexandria, go to your hotel, settle and walk back to the station, now taking the metro to DC. Costs around $3-4 per person, takes like 15-20 min.
Another alternative is to stay in Baltimore, but that's tricky if you don't know the safe areas. Alexandria is much safer.
Or Arlington.
The bus trip from Philly is like 2 or 3 hours, so that may be too far to go back to on the same night. And the buses don't go hourly, so you might not get back.
But in case they are cancelling flights into DC on Jan 4-6, it would make sense to fly into Philly and take either Amtrak or Megabus to DC.
Because they don't know that YOU call it pork. It's only pork to Americans, in other languages it's called differently.
I know, this is meant to be a clever joke, but it doesn't work for people who speak several languages.
