By the infamous Senator Rush, no less.
America spent $4.1 trillion fighting WW2 (today's dollars).
We've already spent $6 trillion on COVID.
Apparently COVID is a more difficult enemy than Hitler. Total insanity.

China is the greatest security threat facing America today.
Not only are we highly dependent upon Chinese imports—for all of the accouterments of modernity from ball bearings to computers—but they steal $600 billion in American IP every year. Not just movies & music, but also secrets to our military technology (China's sub program is a good example of this).
On top of this, the money we pump into China via the trade deficit funds China's colonial adventures all over the world. One belt one road is paid for with American gold. See:

Well, the same can then be said of the internet. Frankly, most major universities in the western world had local intranets—this concept was borrowed by the US military. Frankly, most other armed forces had something similar around the same time, including the USSR. Saying the internet was "literally invented" by the US military is retarded on its face.
In any event, the protocols for transferring data between computers (which is the enabling technology behind the internet) was invented by an Englishman, again.
And if we want to get really technical, almost every American inventor is ethnically English or Scottish. National divisions are pretty meaningless when 80% of the relevant information that makes you, you, is genetic (the remainder being cultural). Stick an Englishman in America, Argentina, or South Africa & you basically get the same result. Stick a Guatemalan in America and, well, you get something different.
I mean, the HTTP packet protocol was invented by Lee as well. How exactly was the internet invested by the US military when everything that makes the internet the internet was invented by an Englishman? The fact is that lots of countries had basically exactly what America had, as well as universities. That doesn't make them the internet.
Computer science & computing was obviously invented by Turing. You're changing the goalposts & now saying that "digital computers" and PCs were invented in America. That's great, but it's kicking the can down the road—you could just as easily say laptops were invented in X, tablets were invented in Y. None of that has anything to do with the origins though.
Computers were invented in England by an Englishman, Alan Turing.
The Internet was a massive collaborative project, but the WWW as we know it was developed in Switzerland under the lead of Tim Berners-Lee—an Englishman.
Generation of electrical current was invented by Faraday, an Englishman. DC power by Edison, an American of English decent, which lost out to AC power by Tesla, a Serb.
Saying you would shoot a fed isn't valuing freedom, it's a good way to get yourself on a government watch list, make yourself a doxxing target, get yourself "red flagged" for future firearms purchases, turn off mainstream people who are browsing, and give the "journalists" who trawl these types of forums more ammo for their anti-gun campaign.
There is literally no benefit to this sort of post, other than to make you feel masculine. Masculinity has nothing to do with "muh gun". It has to do with power. You are making it difficult for people on our side to become powerful when you make us look dangerous or dumb.
Seriously, what is the benefit of posts like this?
You're glowing.
To all the non-feds who might read this comment: understand that this type of idiotic bravado is not only non-optical, it's profoundly unhelpful to the cause.
No one—I repeat—no one other than mentally-deranged morons is going to shoot the police who are enforcing a quarantine. It is a death sentence and it is going to give the government a pretext to institute more firearms restrictions.
Understand that your own individual actions do not matter. You shoot a fed. You die. Your family's lives are ruined. You make things immeasurably more difficult for people who are trying to change the system.
Comments like this are retarded. You're probably a glow in the dark poster yourself.
No, I'm referring to the medical professionals wearing masks specifically to prevent the transmission of Covid-19—which is, I might add, just the flu.
The quarantine makes literally no sense, and unless you're 80 years old and morbidly obese then you have nothing to fear from Covid. However, that has nothing to do with whether or not masks work at limiting the transmission of the virus (they obviously do). Even if they stop 50% (and in fact they stop about 80 - 95%) then this is a significant decrease in the viral load which could be passed along.
It's not like if a single virus gets into your body that you will be infected. The more you are exposed to, the more likely it will overwhelm the immune system. It's a nonlinear tipping point response.
Masks obviously work. This is why medical professionals wear them. Why China, Japan, and South Korea have been able to contain the outbreak.
The reason they didn't give masks to criminals is because they wanted them out. They don't care if they are healthy or not. The point is to destabilize society. To sow disorder and chaos.
The Left is essentially using children as human shields: insult the child, debate with the child etc. and you are demonized as being mean to children. It is a way to input political dogma without having it subject to any sort of critique.
Could very well be, as basically any entity is eligible.
"To begin: who are the “eligible entities” that would administer these COVID-19 tests and “support the quarantine”?
According to Section 2(f)(1), they could range from a “federally qualified health center” to a nondescript “nonprofit organization.” If that were not vague enough, the bill also gives the government the discretion to declare “any other type of entity . . . to be an eligible entity.”
In other words, an “eligible entity” is anything the government would like it to be."
