One other point I’d like to make. A company is defenseless against bad people that run it. Not every large corporation is unsalvageable, some just need new people in charge. It’s far time we quit surrendering on every issue we don’t like, and reclaim the patriotic narrative that existed not long ago.

If you want to become wealthy, first you save more than spend. Second, you invest those savings, as what alternative do you have? Savings accounts aren’t paying and CDs and Bonds won’t get you much. You can say start a business or buy a rental property, but then that is simply more work for somebody already working a full job. And either one is not without risk either. What is much easier is to buy a mutual fund or ETF that is broad based and keep adding to it over time. But that does invest in some companies you may not want, so with a little due diligence, you can diversify between 10ish companies, in different industries, and keep adding to them with a certain return in mind.
That is the way to solve the problem you suggest. Not telling people “don’t invest”. You aren’t preserving the republic with this bad advice you are instead offering it to the very patriots that you claim you support. A great plan for a Democrat, tell conservatives not to invest so they lose wealth (and power) to their liberal counterparts.
The moral is simple. If you don’t know what you are taking about, then shut the fuck up.
