It's because the narrative is controlled regarding Biden, but the narrative was not controlled regarding college cheating.
During the college admissions scandal, we didn't see every major media source claiming "there is no evidence of cheating in college admissions."
The sad truth is that a lot of people will see every media source repeating the same thing and take it as gospel. They can't comprehend of a world where they are all colluding the force the same narrative.
