I've moved to Norway, but their lack of understanding of foreign politics is atrocious... Same as any European country. That said, it's a big step up from the EU.
I think the Nobel committee is looked down on, and the choices have always been criticized. It's obvious to see why though. They just follow PC Zeitgeist.
I am also not a fan of donald trump... but not asbsolutely utterly detesting the leader of a nation these days means that someone is doing an incredible job.
I absolutely despise Trudeau, Johnson, Rutte, Merkel, Macron and of course, Biden. If I could even remember their names, the same goes for the leader sof New Zealand and Australia. These places fortunately isolationist enough to not fuck up Europe.
I miss Trump. When's he coming back?
Nobody has said that, but seeing as aerosol spread is most likely responsible for a large percentage of indoor spread.... mask can't be more than 30% as effective as:
- opening a window
- filtering the air using a HEPA filter
- ionisation which sterilizes air particles
- not going inside
I feel as though Trump has gone into exile in Florida, like Yoda went into exile on Dagobah....
Does this mean Biden is actually a sith lord? Posing as a frail, dementing, weak old man, while actually a figure of pure evil? Already dead, but sustained by powerful necromany and techniques.
Somehow Biden won the election
Wait... do we believe this?
It cannot be... the senator is dead!
Late ballots.. dominion... secrets only the sith knew....
TL:DR; This is all nonsense. Masks don't work at all, even if you take extreme lattiudes regarding their effectivity.
Reality
Sadly, masks are 100% ineffective in reducing aerols, and they are estimated to be 70-90% of the infections that occur when people are indoors in public .
Deluded reasoning
Therefore, I estimate mask are at beast 30% effective, and possibly only 10% effective, when social distancing is respected.
If this is true, and it is according to independent experts, then you need at least
28 masks (1 - 0.7^(28)) to achieve 99.994% effectivity as you state
And at worst:
93 masks (1 - 0.9^(93)) to achieve the 99.994% effectivity as you state.
And if you "merely" wish to achieve the 70% effectivity and the "optimistic" estimate of the independent estimates is right, then you need to wear 4 masks.
And all of this, it's assuming that masks CAN stop aerosol spread, which they can't. So literally everything here is nonsense and overly optimistic. That's right. Wearing 93 masks to stop covid is overly optimistic; it won't work, not unless you are no longer able to breath at all.
∴ everyone has to wear fully hermetically sealed suits, or die, to stop covid.
I typed in "Joe Biden is a ralist" and according to Google:
Showing results for joe biden is a rapist Search instead for joe biden is a ralist
So.. yeah, not my words, Google's.
Edit if I type in "raist" instead, Google autocorrects to "racist"
Showing results for joe biden is a racist Search instead for joe biden is a raist
Wait, there isn't? Dang! Okay, this needs to change asap. And as u/Nancypelosisoldliver/ points out, moderation should be handled properly.
But it will be, Christ wants us to get this worked out.
As I have heard computing forever- banned from youtube a week ago- say: "Rules for thee, but not for me" It's authoritarianism.
And it's getting worse. Same as Biden not needing to wear a mask while everyone else is held to the different standard of needing to.
Absolutely batshit insane and completely injustifiiable.
ding ding ding
- They can close shops on sundays.
- Labor costs are higher (meaning people earn decent wages)
- Importing things can be very expensive to Norway, meaning the local economy takes precedence in most things where it can.
- There is less imigration, and unlike other EU nations, you can come here, but only if you can prove that you can support yourself and/or get a job to do so.
- Norway pays subsantially less money to the EU than most member states
- Norway has a larger degree of independence
- Norway to a large degree has much more sovereignty
- Norway is capable of closing its borders when it needs to
Some of these things fall in the category of "protectionism" which is a thing I was pretty much taught in school was "bad" and is not how the EU works.
However, it is good, because it works against globalism, stops needless consumerism; which is almost like a disease at times, stimulated by large international businesses.
Update: I posted the image, got suspended for 3 days and then succesfully appealed the decision. https://imgur.com/FHcVlP4 Interesting times we live in. I wonder if they got too much backlash? Hopefully. I'm still seriously considering quitting facebook despite it being the only way I can keep in touch with a lot of people that I love.
Edit: aaaand it's blocked again LOL, they re-reviewed it and censored it again, and blocked me for posting 3 days again, but this time, running from the current moment. lol
I emigrated from the Netherlands to Norway myself, but I might do so again in the future... we live in a dark world these days. And a light that was rekindled again went out in the US. I just hope it flicks back to life.. or that this happens to the now smouldering remains of the light we once had in Europe.
Norway is still okay, so far.
If I have never been arrested, does that make me 100% white?
