This is a really good point. That's basically what his friend did. That said I think there are far more people that have been redpilled since 2016 rather than bluepilled.

I've seen the media pushing the narrative that Trump supporters are regretting their vote in 2016 and are switching parties now. I had a friend tell me he knows a guy that voted Trump in 2016 but is now going to Biden rallies. I don't know how true it is though. It's his friend.
