That was an absolute nightmare scenario come true; a perfect example of what I was saying.

I don't think China and its influence are entirely to blame, as rarely is anything because of one thing, but it's certainly an part of the shit-storm tornado. We the populace have become relatively fat and happy with how life is rolling forward, and we forget the vigilance required to maintain the freedoms and quality of life that we fought for and built.

It's a sad cycle that history has proven time and time again.
