Just a word of support for all who are making this site home.

I am a true independent voter (Gary Johnson last election), living in San Francisco, who is devastated by what has happened to my once-great city and the direction of civil discourse and political disagreement in this country.

I have never posted or even commented in T_D on Reddit, but I was there most days enjoying the content and getting perspective on news stories that seemingly all of the mainstream sources refuse to even acknowledge. No more.

If Reddit can silence T_D, scarlet letter it's contributors, and be cheered on from all of the other public facing subs, then it's a dead platform to me. It only strengthens my belief in what GEOTUS and the administration are doing for this country. If leftist policies were working, California would be a shining example, rather than a diseased and needle infested, anti-progress and development, wildfire mismanaged, drought causing, homeless run, over taxing, unicorn riding fantasy land of feel-good platitudes rather than common sense. FUCK! Do you even comprehend the levels of ineptitude this state is making law?

I don't need another big-tech/corporate sanitized source for daily news and president bashing; I need counter viewpoints and analysis (and a funny meme or two).

They wouldn't be silencing us if they didn't think we had a point.

Keep up the good work here--I'm with you now. Here's to November 2020.
