This has been going on for decades. Remember the rigged voting machines with the 2000 election? Al Gore was nearly president, but he lost to Bush because of the voter fraud. Gore "surrendered" to GWB, i don't see Donald Trump going down without a fight.
It was a lie. They don't hate the "racist" things about American culture, or they would've stopped there. It's an entire attack on America, they don't even care if these statues were of abolitionists or not.

Bolton wanted more endless war in the Middle East. If George Bush or Barrack Obama were still president, he very well may have gotten it, thus continuing the trend of Americans being slaughtered and alienated Arabs and Muslims also being killed, thus turning them more against the West and the USA. Thank God Trump told him no more of that... we'd all be dead and bankrupt.

The second wave was definitely in the 80s and 90s, but things were still pretty neutral and people were not divided too badly. PC culture was on the table, but it was more of an "ideal" and not extreme. Some people even questioned PC culture even then. The 00s saw it go more mainstream, and folks decided to stop criticising as much and go with it, but slowly it became more radical, up to the 2010s (one could argue this is when it got crazy, mid to late 2000s/early 2010s) that radicalization began to increase tenfold, and the 2020s could be when the fuse finally catches up to the powder keg so to speak and Jesus Christ hopefully it will not be totally UGLY.
I met a self proclaimed privileged white. Acted entitled and thought he was immune to being arrested or hustled by cops because he was white. Hate to say it, but wait until he is proven wrong in the most uncomfortable way possible... the slammer could just be the tip of the iceberg
The gangs have been building up there for decades. Going on 30 years ago in the early 90s we left because every gang you could imagine, and there were dozens, left their signs all over our neighborhood. Couldn't even walk to the ice cream parlor without seeing that. Ferguson only surprised me due to the lives destroyed, but not due to the tensions that were already established. I just pray for the people of my former community, but realistically I feel this is a ticking time bomb for more division and violence, and it may spread further into, and branch out from, Missouri, Illinois, if it ever has a chance with how 2020 is going...
But... people come from all over the world to appreciate all these things and live large where the ideas excel. Why destroy the concepts? So they can never be replicated or replaced? When the knowledge is gone, the way of life and perks all follow. So, who in their right mind would throw away years and generations of progress for stagnation or regression? Why blast ourselves back to the stone age, live in poverty, and worse, struggle to escape because of all the lessons, and technology associated, are now gone? Maybe forever. Remember the toilet and sink were invented in Rome 2,000 years ago, and people DIED for hundreds of years, forced to use unclean outhouses, until it was rediscovered and reinvented in the 1800s after milennia.... How stupid can people be to put us into the Dark Ages part II?
