This is why I think we need a general strike, at the very least against the cities should be done instead. It's peaceful and for the most part legal. Trump's base could bring this country to heel if it was willing to, but the cost takes a lot of sacrifice and will cripple the economy in the short run. It might be easier to go straight to armed violence and just take over, but that can go south real fast. Once someone marches on Rome anyone going forward can march on Rome. Republics seldom recover from such events in the long run and the violence only tends to ratchet up.
A lot of us are frustrated. We're watching an election get stolen before our eyes and if the courts, or government don't provide some sort of remedy a lot of people feel like it is the end of the Republic and there is no choice, but to submit, or to take action even if violent. Do, or Die.
Just watch a mirror video of it on YouTube, or Bitchute and have the best of both worlds.
We should be encouraging Mexican to do this, especially to this Central Americans.
If that was the only anomaly I could believe that. Suburbanites care too much about presentation and not results a lot of them really don't like Trump's style. Most are also inoculated from a lot of the effects of globalism and in many respects benefit from it. A lot of them have TDS, but also fear radical leftism. They're the kind of people who prefer Romney's GOP, but fear the Democrats going too far. So I can see suburbanites ticket splitting.
Now I need an explanation for kicking out observers, Biden losing more counties than Hillary, only doing better in 4 metro areas that happen to all be in Swing States, 100%+ voter turnout in some places, votes being counted faster than feasibly possible, massive vote tallies being reported all only for Joe Biden and no down ballot contests in several states, votes being switched from Trump to Biden, etc, etc. In isolation you can hand wave some of these things, but all at once. Color me skeptical.
Thanks for the answer. That's one big issue is a strike really needs to be targeted. We can't hurt our own with it. Which is why it would need to be targeted at major cities. Democrats economic support comes from tech, finance and bureaucrats which is mostly centered in big cities. A violent uprising is probably a quicker and easier way forward, but I think it has a lot more risks and I think has the potential to backfire harder if it fails. If it succeeds well you know they'll all label Trump a dictator. Which is why I think a general strike might be a better option since it could land a heavy blow to the government, but is completely legal as well, but it will take longer and require sustained sacrifice and I personally think that requires a lot more willpower than rushing in with guns.
Serious question. If the President called for a National Strike to stop the steal would you strike? Would you and other truck drivers stop making deliveries especially to Blue Cities? From what I gather the truck drivers could really throw their weight around. If they all stopped working it could really grind this country to a halt. Or are you guys easily replaceable and too worried of losing your jobs. I can understand considering it's a huge risk, a huge ask, and a huge hit to take, but the Republic is at stake.
On the matter of the courts we're waiting for SCOTUS to either reject, or accept the appeal. The issue though is that it isn't an appeal for the lawsuit, but on whether to amend it. My biggest concern is the lawsuit isn't bring all the evidence to bare. Not even what was in the Gettysburg hearing is all in the lawsuit. Maybe I'm missing something, but the current lawsuit by the Trump team seems to be lacking. Maybe I'm missing something and I'd be happy to get an earful from fellow Pede.
Not gonna lie I didn't really think the strategy of going after Legislatures would work without getting some significant legal victories. There are just too many cuckservatives for that. They would need cover from the courts to get them to act. The only other pressure is popular pressure and frankly one thing that is bugging me is why isn't Trump calling for more rallies and holding rallies himself to build public support for such a move? Is there legal reason I don't know about? He didn't even address the Million MAGA March? Maybe he's got some big reveal, or I'm just not smart enough to understand the 4D Chess going on, but his actions are somewhat baffling to me.
Trump is the key. If he gets the word out to his supporters they'll follow his que. Look at the million MAGA March. Trump didn't even use all his ability to organize it and yet Hundreds of Thousands came out and protested. If Trump called for a general strike across the country, or specifically against the major cities he could probably make it happen and it would all be legal. The key after this is will Trump supporters take a hit to their comfort and livelihoods to support this President. Even risk losing their jobs to do so. A strike alone is a huge ask. Will the American people fight for their President. That I don't know and if we aren't we don't deserve this Republic.
That's the big issue. It's clear the Democrats stole this election. Why wouldn't they steal it again unless we act now. Why the hell should we believe they'll play fair in 2022, or 2024. We need to act now if we don't get a solution from the courts, or state houses. We need to be willing to take drastic action. Be it massive strikes, or even more aggresive action. This country needs Trump's base far more to function than the Democrats. If Trump gets this plan out to his supporters we could make this country come to heel pretty quickly. The question is will Trump be willing to take such actions and will enough of his supporters forsake comfort to save the Republic.
This is why I'm so fucking sick of the people saying we need to support the GOP no matter what. I'm a lifelong Republican and a pretty damn loyal one. I supported every GOP candidate from Bush to Romney. I didn't support Trump in 2016 cause the guy looked like a scoundrel who hijacked the party for personal gain. Trump went on to prove me absolutely wrong. He did things Republicans never did. He slashed regulations heavily and he cut taxes. He played hardball on foreign policy. Got us out of the Iran Deal, Paris Accords, and he fucking threatened Mexico into getting a handle on immigration. When was the last time President threatened massive tariffs to get a policy change in a foreign country. He's used American strength wisely by showing strength, but not rushing into war. He's negotiated peace deals across the Middle East. He stood up to China. He made sure we got a Conservative Majority on the Supreme Court and filled the lower Courts. What he did most important of all is he said it was okay to be proud of America and a proud American. He said you shouldn't be ashamed of who you are, but proud.
Trump fights for us, he fights for the GOP, he's still fighting for the GOP and what do they do in return. Fucking nothing, worse many, many who claimed to support him are just backstabbing him. The President who has fought so hard for us and the GOP and the Conservative agenda is getting hardly any support from the GOP. I know some of you guys say we should keep supporting the whole GOP to stop the Dems, but what is the point of voting for politicians who won't even fight for themselves let alone us. I'll say keep voting for those that fought for our President, but we need to primary out the RINOs and if the RINOs win the nomination we stay home. Send a clear message we won't be taken for granted anymore. I'm more than willing to vote for a new MAGA party, but don't ask me to support a politician who won't even stand up for it's own President let alone us.
The court case is absolutely crucial and if Trump can't get any sort of victories there I don't really see how he proceeds legally. I doubt the State Legislators will change their EC votes without the courts throwing out ballots, or giving the Trump team some sort of victory to validate such a move. Too many limp dick RINOs for that and they are going to want the courts to cover their rears. The biggest concern I have is that Rudy's team and their case in PA is not particularly strong. Apparently the fight going to the SCOTUS is just to allow them to amend their current lawsuit which is by no means using all the evidence they've collected. I haven't heard much about lawsuits in other states.
Honestly Trump's best shot at this point seems to be instigating a Revolution. He could call for a Nationwide strike and it could be targeted specifically against the cities. If all the Truckers who gave him money striked it would grind this country to a stop. Whether he pulls the trigger on such a move is to be seen and it would be a huge ask from the American people and his supporters. Strikers would be taking an economic hit and the US economy would be crippled in the short run. If enough of Trump's supporters strike, atleast against the cities then he wouldn't even need the military. He could force Congress to keep him in office and demand new elections under new guidelines. I think the coming weeks will prove whether Trump is a great man, or not.
Notable error. Jackson wasn't running for reelection. It was his first run. Only one President has 2 non-consecutive terms and that is Grover Cleveland. The last decent Democrat to be President.
It wasn't theft. The process was entirely Constitutional and legal. One could certainly argue it was a dick move considering Jackson won the most votes and Electors, but he didn't get a majority of Electors and that meant Congress got to choose and well Congress chose John Quincy Adams.
Rekietalaw on YouTube went over this, but apparently the Judge demanded some sort of statement from both sides and then Wolf And Boockvar pushed through certification and claimed the lawsuit was a moot point. From what I understand the courts weren't buying their shit and the lawsuits been able to proceed. As to certification it's complicated. I don't think anything has been undone, but the courts suggest it can be going forward and I don't think they can go any further with certification. There is also another issue with the certification not being done properly because Wolf and Boockvar rammed it through.
Their sanitation was probably too good.
Michigan and Georgia I think are the two big ones where we need to get the State Legislature to hold up certification. Georgia's is solidly Republican. Michigan's Senate is heavily Republican, but the lower House has a small majority. Wisconsin has a solidly Red Legislature, but Trump's challenging of ballots could flip the state before that is necessary. Nevada's state house is controlled by Dems heavily so litigation will have to be the case. Haven't a clue about what is going on in Arizona, but the GOP majority is pretty small right now.
Obama gives Iran pallets of cash, we'll never get back in exchange for hostages.
Trump suspends a military exercise on the Korean peninsula that he can boot back up any day for hostages.
Donald Trump has been undoing the foreign policy consensus and getting results and the so called experts are livid he's showing what a bunch of worthless hacks they are when a "novice" like him can do better.
The Census every 10 years determines state population and then House seats are apportioned to states by population. Each State is guaranteed atleast 1 Representative and there are 435 House seats total. The State Legislatures then have to draw districts within their states and then the Districts directly vote for a Congressman. So Texas has 36 Representatives this means 36 Congressional District that each vote for a Congressman. Then those 36 members Constitute the Texas Delegation to the House of Representatives.
During the Electoral College tie breaking scenario if a House delegation is split 50/50 like Pennsylvania which currently has a 9 - 9 split Democrat and Republican if neither Candidate can get a majority of a delegation to vote for them neither gets the vote. A candidate needs a majority of delegations which is 26 out of 50. The House just keeps voting over and over again till a candidate wins. Until that happens the Vice President becomes acting President who is elected in this scenario by simple floor vote in the Senate. Currently the GOP has 26 delegations although I've heard they took control of another delegation, or two after the election. Not sure on the final number. I know it is the next Congress that votes in that scenario.
I think the State Houses are a less reliable quantity. I don't think they want to be labeled as ignoring the will of the people in their state and Republican majorities in many of these state houses are not very big. It doesn't take a lot of defectors. I think it would take a court case tossing out large swaths of illegal ballots to legitimize changing how the electors vote. I think the best case scenario before a court case is they could refuse to certify the results and send Electors until the litigation has run it's course. If this holds out till the 14th The state might just not award it's votes to anyone. They could justify this by saying state election laws were violated and can't certify the results of an illegally conducted election.
From what I understand the main contention is mail-in-ballots. From what I understand those can be differentiated from regular ballots. Also each county stores their own ballots so they are further separated that way. The Supreme Court for example could rule that all the mail-in-ballots in Detroit are void do to state election law violations and unequal treatment under the 14th Amendment and have those specific ballots just thrown out. The reason I think this is more likely is throwing out a whole states election is a far bigger ask and I think they'd prefer rulings that can remedy the situation with as little impact as possible. Removing illegal ballots is a far smaller ask than throwing out a whole election and removing so many ballots alone is a huge ask to begin with.
I think there is some confusion in terminology. The members of the US House of Representatives are Federal legislators, but are commonly referred to as Congressmen, or Representatives. Each state has a delegation based on it's population. When people people say State Legislators they mean a member of a State's Legislative Branch not a member of the Federal Congress. When people say State Houses they mean the State Legislature. In the event no Presidential Candidate secures an Electoral College majority the US House of Representatives votes for the President under the rules described above.
The House decides the election, but each states House delegation has 1 vote. So California's 53 Congressmen collectively have one vote and Wyoming's 1 Congressman has one vote.
We need to get out of whatever stupid treaty it was that keeps us from making anymore more of these beautiful badboys.
There is just so much god damn uncertainty. So much is happening at once and nobody is sure what is happening. Trump's moves don't make a lot of sense at times. Somedays it feels like he is winning, others he's not. No one is sure what is true, or what is false. There are a million different theories as to how Trump will pull off the win. The range of possible outcomes is all over the place. Biden and his cronies win and we watch the end of the Republic, Trump wins his legal battles, and may even reveal deep rooted corruption, or everything explodes into mass action be it peaceful, or violent. Will Trump supporter give up their freedom to maintain a comfortable cage, or will they risk their wealth, lives and sacred honor to preserve the Republic. It's all just maddening.
