Wow, that was sad . Well I can say I have a story it's true. Believe or not it's true. I am a guy that rented a room, from someone I worked with for 2 years prior. My wife and I had realized after living with this person, she was not like we thought. She was a narcissistic, to the extreme. She acted like our savior, we were in a motel, on minimum wage. Our rent dropped from 1250, to 400. We were so happy, we all had good times together. It all changed when we started to do our own thing, without her. She became increasingly hostile, raised rent, stuff to make us uncomfortable. Well we had decided to move . We had saved our money, so I told her our plan. She acted happy for us. My wife one day asked me to taste the juice she poured, it tasted funny. A car we had purchased from her , over heated . Upon 3opening the hood I saw a perfect triangle shaped puncture spewing coolant . It was odd. About 3 days went buy, she gives me a key to the car, the valet key . Said she happened to come across it. Well I went to radio shack , bought a tape recorder, and a phone tap device . For the next week I recorded the calls Her calls, and her husband. She loved to talk. Hours of conversation. Took along time , and it was mostly boring gossip. Until I heard the call between her and some guy. We had only 6 days until we were getting out. She told this guy to slash all 4 sidewalls on the tires to our car. She then expressed her desire to then have my wife jumped , and if I was with her to go easy on me, she actually said she felt bad for me, and it was my wife that ruined everything for her.
The night this guy was to slash my cars tires was the same night i heard this. I wrote on 4 pieces of paper,. " Don't do it, she's setting you up" and taped one on the fender of each tire. I got up at 530 am, checked the car. All tires fine. So I took the papers off, went to work. When I got home, my wife told me our landlady / former friend was pissed all day , and I listened to that days recording. He saw the notes, told her fuck off and more. She then left. Next day went to work, the wife worked that day too, and when we got home I went to the bathroom, it had a deadbolt on it. No key. So I found a key that fit, and broke it off. The roomate came home, discovered the lock inoperable, and karma paid her back she pissed herself. She came pounding at our door, all the while screaming " I know it was you". I opened the door, tape recorder in hand. I pressed the play button. She heard her voice, the panic in her eyes and face I remember vividly. She Quickly called her husband. And he pounded on our door, demanding the tape. Told him I'll give it when I'm leaving in the loaded rental truck. Our former friend left that night , and we never saw her again.i still have the tape, and the device it saved our life. That night was our last and I stayed up , firearm in hand
I didn't think ahead , the recording in my case was illegal, and turned out the husband was scarier than her. I would fast forward when he was the recorded call. I listened to a few of his calls. He was a very bad man.
I'll never forget , it was surereal . To have that kind of proof. And we made it out. Just got lucky. Do what you have to, that's cool. I get it. Promoting that along with q stuff to me is foolishness that will get someone killed . Remember the pede that was killed?
